    And I don't really enjoy to make money that much and I belive gp/xp will rise now that bots are gone.

     

    I sold 20k oak planks last night on the ge at 527 each. So I think you're right there :P

     

    Though personally I use my con/thief effigies on thieving because I really don't like thieving. Same reason as I use hunt/herb ones on hunter.

     

    I personally don't enjoy bank skills and buyables because they don't require any skill and not fun to make money most of times.

    Hate to burst your bubble, but if your idea of "taking skill" is anything Runescape related, you my non-game-tick-wasting-friend are truly mistaken. 99 wc takes just as much skill as 99 agility. People will argue with me on this, but the same game mechanics are used (clicking a spot on the screen). There is relatively no difference between any skills in Runescape aside from the esthetic features and what you are lead to believe by Jagex and others. There is a difference between "skill" and "time". Just because one may have more time to put into runescape, doesn't make them more skilled then someone who has half the time to put into Runescape. If a newly joined player was told by someone to do a series of actions getting them from 1-99-200m in a "skill that takes skill" in the most efficient way possible, would it make them good at Runescape? No. It would simply mean they know how to do a series of mouse actions for an extended period of time. Also, there is a factor of knowledge that comes into play in determining who is "better" at a skill, but anyone with any interest can learn a technique or method and be just as "skilled" as the "better" player.

    rs is a race to 200m exp all for those who are involved. it doesn't matter how you get there, it's who gets there first. if suomi wants to accept donations, then let him. if someone wants to money make then let them. if someone wants to buy rs2 gp then let them. if anything, people should be encouraged to donate to suomi. i wont be around to play rs forever and i'd like to see 200m experience in every skill. i know only a handful of people are able to achieve this, but suomi seems the most ambitious at the moment. why waste 2 years of your life money making when you can skip that process? would it be any different if someone boxed suomi for a phat set and he won? rs is just as much of a luck based game as it is a skilled based game. some people can merch successfully, some people know when a glitch is going to happen and to exploit it, some people might come back from being inactive for 4 years and have a bank full of rares. why should the unlucky people suffer while the lucky people reap the benefits? maybe suomi boss hunted for ever and only got a few good drops, while someone did it for a month and got billions of gp in drops. the only way to fairly measure 200m exp all between players is for them to start over and do everything themselves with no help whatsoever. i feel sorry for those who just got 85 slayer because whips are only 500k whereas when they were first released they were nearly 100m. just sit back and enjoy the race and stop getting your panties in a twist.

    gameos why do you even bother? you're a noob with crappy stats. you almost have 200m xp in the easiest skill and you're not even maxed. you have no credentials to criticize anyone's methods and you post like you are competition in the 200m exp race. by the time you get 2b exp rs will probably be dead. but you take rs serious so there's no point arguing with you. you're just a rs2 version 10 product who rides around on a horse with stilts.

    @PP coments: I don't see anybody getting MAX xp per hour at monkey knives for a full day. I do see people doing that in PP, including myself. In terms of max xp rate is like 5k or even under.

    Assuming you have god of scpetre when pping and that you are duoing. And assuming you have ibis when at monkeys.

    Btw was thinking... I know tezz isn't going for 200M all but he does have 1.224B buyable xp left... He'd be well over 4B :o (4.1 something)

    i thought tezz was? just not as hardcore as suomi, but he is tackling skills to 200m and doesnt show any signs of retiring.

    look at it from this angle.

     

    1)don't ban the bots, make an extra 2M dollars but risk losing your legit customers

     

    2)ban the bots now, lose out on some extra money, but keep your legit customers for ever

     

    it's like a geyser vs a stream, at first the geyser seems like a lot more, but eventually it stops, whereas the stream flows slowly, but steady.

    i feel like jagex is like "big brother" you don't see them or see what they do, but you know they're there. there presence is felt, but I feel if they were actually ingame banning people they would have a more "cop" presence. you see them, you know someone is going to get caught, you just don't want it to be you so you ease a little on the gas pedal when you see them.

    looking on runetracker at tezz and drumgun right quick i noticed that they gained 0 xp in multiple skills but gained multiple ranks showing that jagex does indeed ban/roll back high level bots (each player has a significant amount of xp in each skill so to raise ranks would mean the botter had a significant amount of xp) those are just two examples, which im sure if i looked at other top players i would see the same thing.

     

    You're basing that off of RuneTracker? Seriously? Tezz doesn't bot, and wasn't rolled back? I'm just after having a chat with him now, lets not try and mislead the people 0siris.

     

    He's saying that they GAINED ranked despite having no experience thus people higher than them got banned/rolled back. He wasn't accusing anyone of botting. He was misleading no one just making an observation.

    Oh wow, my bad! In that case I do humbly apologise, didn't re-read before replying while using my phone! Sorry 0siris.
