Thanks, but all it says in step #30 is to plant the orb on the stranger so he can be teleported back to them... it doesn't tell me what I'm doing wrong, (how to place the orb on him properly). Find the lower level strangers (level 30, not 50) and use the orb with one of them. Ok, thanks again, I guess. I've been doing that for over an hour and it wasn't working. Guess I need to just keep trying. Just thought there might be something else to this since it wasn't working. Just my RS luck.

So many people ahead of me in this one... I'm still stuck on trying to get the teleorb onto the strangers in Draynor. I tried teleblocking, fighting them to lower their hp, and a maple blackjack. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Aloha! ~SaxRox Final Edit: I received NOTHING from the last one I killed, aside from the 100% regular bones that it dropped. That was the first and only time this had happened during this Slayer Assignment. These give great Slayer xp, but they are also a very slow assignment to complete. I used Pray Pots + Guthans to get this one done, and the Slash attack seems to work well with these.

I've gotten nothing but Big Bones as a drop 5 times out of the 195 killed. And... you've listed "Perfect Tortoise Shell," but it is simply called "Perfect Shell". One more thing: I've only gotten Uncut Emeralds as drops from these creatures, no other types of uncuts. Nice Job! Aloha! ~SaxRox Edit: Perfect Shells can be traded to Barlak in Dorgesh-Kaan. He pays 600 gp and gives 500 crafting xp for each Perfect Shell.

Quite simply... any Shifter that is next to the Void Knight protects the Knight from ranged (Defiler) and mage (Torcher) attacks. The East and West Portals usually get taken out first, which leaves the Southwestern and Southeastern Portals to keep spawning monsters. This being the case, the South Gate usually ends up with tons of monsters waiting to get in or fire long-range attacks at the Void Knight. By leaving any Shifter that is directly to the South of the Void Knight, those Shifters act as blockers from any missile attacks. Once these Shifters get killed by some unknowing fool, we notice a barrage of Defiler and Torcher attacks upon the Knight, usually ending with said Knight's sudden and painful death, as well as a failed mission. (And a few people muttering a few choice words about "some noob this" or "some noob that". So, please leave those Shifters alone! Also, another piece of strategic information... If we concentrate our efforts on the Portals (and the Spinners that occassionally pop up), it is possible to be victorious in less than 2 minutes from the start of the mission! I think he stated in the first post.. this character is a pure, and "Between a Rock" quest gives 5k def xp. Some pures are actual pures, and don't want any def xp. So, if this is the case, Arzinian Mines are out of the question.

*still wiping tears from eyes* That was good! I'm 124 and had a cannon for about an hour when that quest first came out... then realized how much time and money I'd just wasted on cannonballs, and took forever to sell that cannon. (Back then, there weren't too many "rich" people who were buying cannons near store price.)

Butigroove... If all you need is some gold bars for crafting xp, add my name and pm me. And... no worry, haole boy, they eventually get what they dish out... you know that.
