I have been wondering lately about amulets...How come they hold for so long? Why doesent the string burn by fire of mages or get cut by arrows or swords?I don't know, but i think it is very unlogic (ok,RS isen't 100% logic, but still).I have been thinking about that now for quite some time (1 Month).I think it would be a good idea to introduce chains for amulets. For example bronze chain gives you +1 stab defence,+1 crush defence,+1 slash defence,+1 range defence and -2 magic defence and -5 magic attack. The chains could go up to dragon (members only) which would give +6 stab defence,+6 slash defence,+6 crush defence,+6 range defence and -2 magic defence and -5 magic attack. The chains would need defence levels like other armour of the same type (60 dragon,40 rune). They could be smithable (except dragon) and/or obtained in a specific shop/specific monster. Then there could be leather and dragonhide chains.Leather would give +1 to all defence stats, dragon hide would give +2 (green) to all,but -10 magic attack,+3 to all defences,-10 magic attack (blue),+4 to all defences, but -10 magic attack (red) and +5 to all defences, but -10 magic attack (black). These could be made by crafting and/or bought/dropped. Then there could be magic chains. For example there could be splitbark chains with +3 to all defences (it protects the neck, that is quite something!) and could give +2 magic attack and -1 ranged attack. Then maybe some chains made completely out of magic which gives +2 to all defences and +1 magic attack and -1 ranged attack (could be available for non-member who whine too much about no updates). So,what do you think?Do you think it ruins the use of amulett of protection?Or is it a useful idea, aldo it probably won't be made?Think of me as a idiot for sugesting a stupid idea or someone who just thought of something great,i don't really care.
