Actually to get on that island you need to use the WESTMOST cave in the swamp south of Gu'Tanoth.

Its the guy in black with a d dagger. The stranger appears if you have any (or a few) of the diamonds from the Desert Treasure quest, he attacked me when I had all 4 on me.

I'm afraid you have to get 56 agility (or at least 53 with pot, NOT recommended) and get there, but hey.. it could be worth it.

The best time is when you have completed most quests so you can access all areas to do the clues. You need to be able to defeat a lvl 108 sara wizard, so I'd suggest 90+ is a good combat level. Good spots: *Range or hally Hellhounds in Taverly dungeon *Range Greater Demons in Ogre Enclave *Kill Green Dragons in lvl 12 wilderness

Ogre enclave south of Yanille. Watchtower quest need to be almost done to enter.

Start the watchtower quest and do the part up to where you get the map.

I got gilded pl8 recently:

10-15 mimes now and about 10 mazes. Most of em at basilisks

Enter the westmost cave in Feldip hills and you will end up there.

* When you light a fire in the supermarket and cook your meat right after you've paid for it. * When you walk around pickpocketing and killing other people and wait for them to respawn.

Im up to 8 mimes from Basilisks now, 1 from bronze dragons, 1 from infernal mages, 1 from chaos druids.

I would suggest the 6-item method, bring: 1. Weapon (Dagger or a sword that can slash through a web, which you use to kill the Zamorak wizard) 2. Clue Scroll (Well duh) 3. Sextant 4. Spade 5. Chart 6. Watch I would suggest that you do the clue early in the morning on weekdays, around 8-11AM european time is good, not many people play then, use world with less than 200 people playing. Use the teleport in Ardougne to get to high wilderness, logout IMMEDIATLY if you see a white dot on the map, hopefully by this time of the day you should be able to find an empty axe hut in one of the worlds. If someone manages to attack you, drop Spade, Chart and Sextant to ensure that you only have 3 items on you, thus you keep the clue scroll if you would die. (I usually drop Chart, Sextant and Watch so the pker ends up with NOTHING) Thats how I would do it.

Mime items can be found and used on F2P servers, and (from my experience) you can be teleported to the mime by constantly training ONE combat skill only (Attack, Strength or Defence), Hitpoints will automaticly be trained, but dont bury any bones or high alch or teleport while you train. You can eat food to heal, but dont cook any food. Thats how I've gotten my 8 mimes.

Hellhounds would be a good choice, once they go non-aggressive they are EXTREMLY easy to kill with a halberd.

Ive gotten mimes at Bronze Dragons, Infernal Mages, Basilisks (3 of em here) and Chaos Druids.
