I got it to work by using the windows client and using it. So now I'm good in between updates. If someone could tell me why it worked I'd be interested to know.

I got broad band. And it only happens every other update. So I'm just hoping Jagex updates again this week so I can play over the weekend.

Is it just me or is it that every time there is a big update I get a checksum error when the game is loading. It is loading interfaces and then; checksum error, wait 5 secs; checksum error, wait ten secs; game updated please reload game. Could anyone please help me get runescape running. I don't want to wait a week for the next update so it can work.

jagex wouldnt do it. It would cost more money in storage.
