    Honestly, if I had to guess what it was, I would say that their DNS server may have gone down or the segment that has their servers on it is gone. Considering that only the root of the domain is available, I'd have to guess that the problem lies in DNS. *Edit: The caching server idea is an interresting idea, though it doesn't explain the lack of cache of the other servers. (IE: News., forums., etc)
