  1. I'm currently working my way up in Summoning (finally) and have hit the point where I need 'Thin Snail' meat for the secondary ingredient. I saw where it was supposed to be dropped randomly by just about any snail, so I went after them. After a half-hour or so I realized I must have been doing something wrong, as all I got were "lean" or "fat" drops. I thought to give it one last try in a different area and discovered that I was getting the "thins" that I was looking for one right after another! Turns out that if I hung around the southern end of the bridge on the way to the ferry boat, there were more of the "Myre Blamish Snail -2-", specifically the level 9 ones with 80 life points. I concentrated on these, and found that without fail they would drop the 'thin' snail meat I was looking for. One thing to note, however. They look almost exactly like one or two other snail types, and to make sure you are targeting the right type, you need to right-click any given snail and make sure it is a MYRE blamish, and not one of the others, which apparently will give the other types of snail meat. I don't know about the other Myre blamish that has the pointed shell, or this type located anywhere else, as I stopped where I was and just hunted there.
  2.  Whooo-eeee!!! Gotta go get my harpoon outta storage! \
  3. Yer kidding!! A Rune Kite has better stats than an obby shield??? :o I wouldn't have believed it! Thanks, man!!! =D> Uh, 'scuse me, I gotta go sell a shield and buy a new one!
  4. Wow! Excellent instruction video! Perhaps a short video outlining the pluses/minuses of the various armor choices for various monsters? Thanx Greatly! Johnson442
  5. I'll join the party! I've read the advice about "go to world 2". The only time I can even get on world 2 is either late on Sunday night, or 2-3 AM -sometimes- during the week! And then at some point (everybody's bedtime, perhaps), the place is suddenly deserted! So, yeah, I'll be there! Note on using gadderhammer:I've tried it, and compared it to the ddp++. The dagger is a weapon of mass destruction compared to the hammer! Johnson442
  6. One idea is to smith short swords and sell to the guy on the second floor of the Warrior's guild. He gives high-alch prices for most weapons. Mith smithing gives 50 points per bar, regardless of which item. At the warrior's guild, you get 780 gp per sword (I think) no matter how many you sell. (Think "noted" here!) Of all the mith items, this gives the best gold/bar ratio in this method. Johnson442
  7. Uh...there *is* more on the way, right? Right?? Definitely, talent at work here!
