  1. I know I'm probably going to get flamed for expressing what is merely my opinion (c'est la vie) but I don't really like most of the new graphical updates. The demons are all so ugly now. And the dragons are just weird. The only difference between the dragons is their color and I thought this might change when they did the graphics but they're still carbon copies of each other. :-s And the demons... well I guess it was necessary to make them demonic but I'm not really loving it.

I do like the Giant Updates though. The Hills are hot now. Before they were just ugly guys in shorts, now ... now they're just so ...rawr. And the mossies/fires/icies are also pretty darn kewl, especially the icies. Looks like sumthing out of Gondam Wings, although I never watched that show. Maybe I'm thinking of something else.

    See i'm thinking the same.

The dragons look SO out of place now. The black demons and the ice giants look the best I think.

  2. From the construction guide onthe knowledge base.

"This odd piece of equipment is a combination of elven mystic arts and gnomish ingenuity, given to those adventurers who successfully aid the gnomes in the Eyes of Glouphrie.

By having the crystal saw in your inventory you will be able to construct furnishings in your house with a Construction level up to 3 levels below that which you would normally require. If you have level 57 Construction, for example, you will be able to construct level 60 furnishings such as gilded four-poster beds - provided you have necessary materials, of course.

As the power of the crystal is drained slightly in doing this, you will only be able to construct 28 items in this way before the saw reverts to an uncharged crystal seed and it will need to be recharged.

This bonus can be stacked on top of bonuses from tea and Evil Dave's Stew of DOOM. Obviously, if you are lucky you may use all of these to get a massive +12 to your Construction (though only on furnishings) - on the other hand, you may be unlucky and the Evil Stew of DOOM may stack with the tea and the saw to give you +0..."

  3. Abyss Pk'ers, while they are allowed to pk there cause it's the wilderness, are just sad people who are too afraid to go any deeper in.

I've used the Abyss soo much. And i've never been pk'ed. I never take any tele stuff with me either.

If they are on ancients drop an essence (60gp?) and use your glory to tele.

If you get entangled/teleblocked... Well it's never happened to me..

I go up on the small hill to get a look at everything and if its clear i run. Also use the skeletons to your advantage, if one of them is attacking you a PK'er can't get at you. so if theres one i know is going to attack me i run into a skeleton and walk slowly to the mage taunting them...

  4. Recruitment Drive.....

  5. Desert Treaure was so much harder! The bosses were so hard since I did them on my own.

    Damis was a nightmare!

    Desseous almost killed me!

Kamil was a [bleep] cause he kept icing me.

Fareed was the only one that was easy.

Then you have the lockpicking of the chest for Rasool, getting through the ice path, the whole hassle of the quest was a joke.

Ironically the easiest part for me was the bit everyone hates. The pyramid. I ran through it in one go and ddin't fall out.

Monkey Madness. I just let the gnomes kill the thing, then I came in and hit a 2 at the end.... =\ And Protection Prayer + Food + Anti Poison for the tunnel. Easy? I think so.
