Slayer staff can auto-cast crumble undead and magic dart, as to others, it would be very useful in the situation you described, as for training, god spells are just too expensive imho.

Yeah the ranged damage table is very wrong in parts, giving damage values for arrows you cant actually use at that lvl etc. Calc would be very useful :)

For some weird reason, I've had this event about 5 times in the mage guild, after never having had it before i got in :P

Only take monk robes dds and clue equipment (spade,clue,watch,chart,sextant), also try to go at quiet time in unpopular worlds, zammy wizard is easy to kill. Its usually only lvl 50+ wildy clues that tend to be difficult.
