  1. Finally new crossbows, looks like my weeks of bumping my sugggestion on offical forums 3 times a day has payed off! *hopes they add in what i suggested*
  2. In the dwarf tunnel you go through istead of passing over White Wolf Mountain.
  3. Ok, I have a theory about the druids of Runescape, which is that they are all, secretly or not, communists, and to prove this theory I have some evidence to back it up: 1. They worship the god, Guthix, with his ideals focusing on 'Balance', as well as lots of mumbo jumbo about Nature, very similar to the Communist ideals of fairness and equality for everyone. 2. During the 'Nature Spirit' quest you are required to forge a silver sickle to do some more things involving Guthix and Nature. The druids also use lots of sickles, one of the items prominent upon the Communist symbol of crossed hammer and sickle. 3. They all live simplistic lifestyles, you don't walk through Taverly very often and see a druid in full gilded druid robes, or wearing gold jewelry. This also falls in with the fact that all communist countries are always poor, as communism dosen't actually work in practice. These are my main ideas about the druids, as well as other more random ones (Such as all their facial hair, one thing in common with many prominant Russian communists.) Please no flaming or spamming! All bumps are welcomed!
  4. Or...even better than fancy clothes, you could get a full set of noob clothes! Which could consist of various ripped clothes, and random pieces of armour, of course they wouldnt be called the normal armour, they would be called, 'Noob Helm' and things similar.
  5. I think a prayer bonus wold be nice for God armours, and I like the colours of Zammy and Sara, but Guthix? It looks like someones been sick over it =) Also the Sara looks a bit like the 2nd Castle Wars armour.
  6. I can't see varrock general store stocking opals that often myself.....and with 2 tips per opal, for only 100 heads 50 opals is alot of gem mining.
  7. Ok edited in some ideas I had on offical forums now :D
  8. If anyone who supports is a member, I've posted same thing on offical forums with a couple more ideas :)
  9. Brutal is arrows, you need ogre compostite bow to fire :)
  10. If it isn't bad, why does nobody in members use it? I want crossbows to be improved so they actually see some use. I'd use it if only barbed bolts didnt take hours of shooting targets to get even a tiny amount, and even then I could've got pre-fletched arrows that hit more damage for my tickets.
  11. Crossbows are too weak as in is, in both members and free. They're slow, bolts are only equivalent to iron, so they're weak, and bolts are too hard to get in my opinion. The other bolts are too hard to get as well, so nobody bothers. So heres some of my ideas to remedy this situation: 1. As it is bolts are far too hard to get, needing tons of opals, pearls or archery tickets for a pathetic amount of heads, thats without needing the bolts too. I think the amount of Heads you get should be increased, I think you currently get 2 per pearl or opal and I'm not sure how many for tickets, I think this should be put up to 6-8, considering how annoying these items are to get, especially pearls. 2. Improve crossbows by having a new bolt type, equal to Rune Arrows; Bone Bolt, made from using chisel on dragon bones to make 6-8 heads, then attaching in same was as others, members only. This would put the cost at between 400-300 per head plus the cost of bolts, dragon bones being 2.5k. They are also easily available, provided you've got the cash. 3. Give more bolts to free players, currently crossbows are exceedingly underpowered in free, with only bolts, compared to adamant arrows. I propose making both opal and pearl bolts available in free, and purchasable from varrock and rimmington archery shops. It would also allow members to craft them, and sell them to people in the free world. 4. Make bolts more readily available by making them smithable, 5 or 10 bolts per iron bar, because at the moment, the only place to get them in free is varrock archery shop, and I believe it only stocks about 200, compared to 600+ of every arrow type. 5. Make better crossbows available, normal crossbow gives a pathetic +6 ranged attack value which is less than normal shortbow or longbow, and being slower than bows I don't see why they have to be weaker too, the only thing good about them being you can use a shield, which any half decent defensive one lowers your ranged attack anyway, leaving you really with a dragonfire on free, or god book on members. I think maybe make better crossbows of better metals, make normal crossbow iron or steel, then go on up from there, making iron, steel and mith for f2p and the others members, possibly giving the rune one a special too, 100% drain, fires 5 bolts super fast, but with lowered power (Just a random idea I thought might be cool for special :)). Ok thats me done about crossbows :) On my 5th point, I'm thinking make crossbows fletchable, needing 1 log (fletchable into crossbow frame), a bow string, and a metal part, that you can buy from ranged guild, but also is smithable (I'm thinking 10 per bar, putting rune at about 1.2k, and around that price in shop, the total rune crossbow being about 2.4k). It would be normal log and bronze, up to magic log and rune. This might of course make it too complicated to make and nobody would bother, so any idas would be appreciated. Im thinking 5 fletching levels more than the longbow, putting rune/magic in at 90, easily makeable by tons of fletchers.
  12. Sounds to similar to Tzhaar ranged weapon to me.
  13. Yeah think you're right, could just wear big fur coats tho insetad, even make them craftable from fur!!!! giving fur an actual use!!! Oh wait somebody already said this :( Meh Along with the underwater weapons you've gotta have tridents! Might actually be a useful spear thats actually any good!
  14. Great quest idea, but as I see it theres nothing wrong with the melee barrows set as it is and so another new one would be a bit uneeded, a different ranged brother prehaps to make up for the useless Karil, possibly something along the lines of javelins, throwing weapons, or a boomerang =) To make it a little different from Karils, this would also fit in with the Tribal/Karmaja theme of the quest more. The firemaking/crafting upkeep sounds great as they are definatly two of the most unused skills, I'd go so far as to say the MOST unused and this would give them that little bit more usefullness. Definatly the ranger training is a excellent idea, I've seen targets within varrock palace and always thought: 'whats the point?'
  15. The ability to walk around the arena, but not be able to interact with anything might be nice, except it would become terribly confusing about whom was playing and whom was watching.
  16. I still rather like my Gandalf the Black costume on my f2p pure, I can even hide in random places, well on brightness lowest :) Shame i had to give up my gingerness tho :(
  17. Yeah very good idea imo, not that useful for frog outfits as you seem to get them every other day, but with mime (Had 3 in 1 1/2+ years of playing) and camo and leiderhosen (never had either) which are alot rarer, for free players to keep even 1 full set is a huge waste of bank space, which could be used for more practical gear such as rune or d hide.
  18. I didnt report my brother when he was autotyping. He got caught anyway....
  19. Still, the update has ruined a nice range spot, now rangers have to train on cows for longer, or face the barbarians!
  20. Yeah, but it kind of well, shux....:). Decent idea but the complicity (Is this even a word?) of it would be too much for Jagex to handle, I think POHs are sort of going to be along these lines and we know how long they've taken........
  21. And a little agility exp per time would add up in the long run, I'm thinking maybe make it less agility needed, as for use of law runners, most are going to be lower leveled players, and I'm therefore assuming they would have lower agility
