It was possible to do Shield of Arrav quest alone

There used to be fliers for sale all the time in the varrock general store and all you had to do was buy one and bring it to the king and it would finish the quest. THat's how I beat it. I didn't even know you were supposed to do it as a team. -
if youre gunna be p2p it doesnt matter. You only need dragon slayer for green hide chest. All the others only need 40 def. And yes. I am 100% positive about that.
