Sorry to double post, but I didn't see that second last post. Firstly, I'd like to say congratulations on a great post (seriously). Can you let me know where there's a Western Union around western Sydney? I have searched, but not found. No I am not in tune with how the company works, but my friend is an autoer and I have seen the RS java source code many times, and had the chance to go through it. I asked him about changing bank space, but he said that even if you made the change in the client files, it would be different and the server would reject the requests to bank extra items. In tune enough for you? So because you don't want some of the members stuff, you should get the stuff you want for free? I fail to see how this point is relevant to anything. Hell, other F2P'ers might not want more bank space, but they may want fletching. By your logic, thats fine and dandy. I said that because some person who posted before that last post of mine was complaining about maging and ranging. Ignore it. Please, support your argument with facts that you don't know. You are assuming this. As Bubsa said, F2P can't support their own servers with the ads, thats part of the money earned from P2P. I addressed this point in the post above.

Sure if F2Pers could purchase extra bank space seperately from members, I would pay for it seperately. You are right there. But 'Test' servers? And why wages for free servers? That's all fine if you mean people to maintain the servers, but if you don't mean that then there's a problem. There are [currently] no updates on free worlds, so why pay people to develope content for them? On an off topic note: I was just thinking about how JAGeX shut down the Australasian server. They said that it cost too much to run. But the English pound is worth much more in Australia. 1 pound might be equal to $3 AUS sometimes. I think that's all for now, but we'll see... Elimist5000

Sorry. I said i wouldn't post on this topic anymore, but with all that people have said, i feel that i need to reply. Firstly: Pay By Mail isn't available in every country. I live in Australia and i can't pay by mail. Secondly: Making say, 10 extra bank spaces for free players won't cost JAGeX a cent/penny/whatever. Andrew has to change one number in one of the JAVA files. You may know this, but I just wanted to point it out. And it's not like JAGeX never update the JAVA files. They do every week. Andrew could make that simply change one week. And they wouldn't suffer financially at all. Thirdly: I have no problem maging or ranging. I don't need or want fletching. Fourthly: I backed down because i didn't see the point in continuing this discussion because it was going nowhere. I will say this again even though i have probably said it about 10 times already: I don't want members skills. I don't want members quests. I don't want members objects. I don't want members areas. I don't want the forums. I want extra bank space. Maybe even just enough to finish the row! And no-one should ever say that JAGeX don't make money from F2P servers. The ads earn them lots of money. More than enough to pay for the servers. Here we go again... More destructive-criticism from Outstanity yet again! Like I have told you many, many times: for some people, five dollars a month is not an option. But I do not realisticly think that this is likely to happen anyway. I have to agree on you that raising to level 85 crafting is not only boring, but the only things you can make with F2P crafting end at leather armour... On a different note, Ishbar, very well thought out post, but diamonds really cannot be moulded just like metal. There are more of a stone. But the idea seems pretty well thought out anyway. Good job! However, you only have $10.00...I don't think the pizza place is going to give you a free drink just because you don't think it's fair that people who pay for drinks get drinks. I mean...how stupid and illogical does that sound? Exactly. Same case with Runescape. If you can't pay, quit whining, and move on. Four things: 1. I am probably more mature than you will ever be. 2. I am one of the smartest people in my class and the one above, many people say that about me. 3. I will admit that it was somewhat immature of me to post in all caps. 4. I used words like "pwned" and "noob" because i don't like to use lots of big words that confuse some people. First you say we're being idiotic for telling you guys that you're being ridiculous for wanting all the updates, when you just want extra bankspace...but then you say that WE don't know understand about it because we're p2p...in my honest opinion, all you're doing is being hypocritical. Now, don't even say we don't understand...because we do. We were ALL once f2p, and had that SAME problem...however...as you play p2p longer you tend to mature your thoughts on the subject of f2p and what they should or shouldn't get. I look at f2p, and just see whining people. Want to know WHY I personally could care less about your "horrible bank space?"...because I had it too. And guess what I did to help correct the situation. Bought members. When it all boils down to it, it comes to this thought: Either stop complaining and just buy members to get what you want, or stop complaining and be thankful for what you get for FREE. I am pretty sure that the ad providers pay per page hit (not ad hit). The game-pages get MILLIONS if not BILLIONS of hits every day. That does more than just pay for servers! Members just earn JAGeX more. Here's a hypothetical situation for you: Overnnight, JAGeX releases a whole bunch of new, super rare items that are woth 200mil each. There are many of these items, in fact, to many different individual items to bank! Your bank is full and the price of them items is only gonna get higher. Then you go pking. You kill a guy and get some more of these super rare items! But you can't bank them. Inventory is full, bank is full. What do you do? Drop valuable items? .........I didn't think so. The situation is not that bad, but close to it (the items aint worth that much either.). There's not much use making this post, because certain people are just going to post the same dam thing over and over. FOR THE LAST TIME! I AM NOT SAYING, "JAGEX, GIVE ME (insert member benefeit here)!" I am saying, "JAGeX, this (aspect of the game (in my case bankspace)) needs attention, i suggest you give more". And customer support. We are entitled to at LEAST a few personal responses! I'm about ready to travel to England, destroy that dam computer that sends out the automated replies and dance on the wreckage! Now i know that some moron is gonna come up with something to flame me about, but that's only because i have pwned them! :D
