  1. Damn, I'm getting hungry by my own avatar-picture. LOL
  2. I think your wrong. I don't think Jagex want's us to spend 25% of our time in bank. It only causes frustration and make people quit. I did ;) On the contrary I think this change could make people enjoy the game much more. Well, that's my thought.
  3. About safety boxes, nice thought. I think it would be hard to implement though. Everything in game has been carefully located to avoid "abuse" or "glimpses", especially the banks. Quests are then made afterwards. It's doable but, well. Please start a new thread with the idea so we can stay targeted to the original idea. Anyone got any ideas about improoving the "banking lists"?
  4. Tyyyyyy everyone! :) I've almost start dreaming about it, think it's real ;) Let's hope Jagex sees this, likes it and implements it. I mean, what are they waiting for? Doesn't everyone read tip.it forums? ;)
  5. Ty Ipinkus, glad u like it! :) I've also been thinking about tabs. It's a very promising idea! Banking is really taking too much of everyones time. It's a pity on such a nice game otherwize. Killing the social part of it too.
  6. Ty Insane! :) To simplify it a bit for Jagex... Instead of being able to name your setups, there could be one setup per skill to save in; Prayer, Magic, Farming, Smithing aso. Most people would want more different combat-setups but Attack, Strength, Defense, Hitpoints, Magic, Prayer, Range should be nearly enough. And nothing would stop you from from saving an additional combat-setup in ex "Farming".
  7. Great and simple idea. Good thinking!
  8. Hi everyone! I just came back to RS after a break for almost a year. Fun to play RS again but still this terrible thing; banking; haven't improved at all. I think partly why I quit was because I got so boored spending 25% of the time in the bank. Well, I've been thinking of something that wont give us more room but maybe will help in some other ways. Please feel fre to comment! Ok, here we go... Much of the time we spend in bank is re-packing. Whenever you run from one mission to another you have put everything in, then take the new stuff out. An example could be going from fighting to farming. First bank all leftover food, pots, loots and more. Undress and bank all armour, ammys, rings, weapon. Then bank again, pick out gardening boots, rake, buckets, seeds and more. Then put on boots. Oh, forgot to take off magic boots. Bank again. There, runs off to garden. Ouch, forgot watering can! Back again. This takes way too much time! Now imagine if we could swap from one mode to another in a few clicks. That would be a great improvement. My idea is to be able to save different setups, and to give them names. Example: Put everything on, put all the items you need in your inventory, dress in the armour and weapons you need, click save, name it: "Fight in the Wild", maybe "Farming Default", "Fishing in Guild", wahtever, you name it! So next time you goto bank, click on "Fight in the Wild" and everything you carry is banked and you're instantly equipped with the new setup. Everytime exactly as you want it. And nothing forgotten! I refer to the idea as "Packing Lists". Maybe they even could be tradeable? Note: A bad thing making them tradeable is that you can make a perfect setup for all the quests around, and that would maybe ruin some of the fun. Well, don't make them tradeable then ;) Please feel free to comment on this idea. It can probably be improved even more.
