Well some of you may or not have read my first story the Runescape chronicles. This story will be a similar style and will fairly accurately follow Runescapes storylines. It also will most likely be my last Runescape based story. It is already written but I will edit chapters for content and post them at various times. As of yet the story has no name, if you want to contribute ideas as to what it could be called feel free. The first installation will be a little prolouge. Rate dont hate, I will ignore flames, that does'nt mean you cant not like it or give critisism. Prolouge: The sky flashed, illuminating for a moment the dark forest. Rain fell from the sky drenching the soldiers who were creeping through the bushes below. As they approached a clearing the captain made a gesture to the others. They stopped crawling forward abruptly. The captain removed his runite helmet and let the rain pour over his sweaty face. There was a sudden movement near a tree a few feet in front of the group. There was a clang as several men drew swords. The captain grabbed his blade raised it and threw it at the trees in one swift movement. But there was nothing. The captain put his helmet back on and approached his sword, which was embedded in the tree. He yanked it out and looked around. The rain obscured his vision almost completely, and the darkness did'nt help. However, behind a tree in the distance he was sure he saw soemthing. It was then an arrows swiftly passed his face, and landed awkwardly in the soldier behind him's face. The captain ducked down and hid behind the tree, frantically signalling the soldiers to take cover. There was silence, except for the rain and occasional clapping of thunder. The captain reached up and removed his helm once more, casting it to his side. He looked once more at the men he had so long fought beside, huddling, afraid, wet, helpless. He gave a parting nod to them and he stood. The soldiers realized he was giving them a chance to live. They fled back in the direction they came. The captain looked at the figure which still stood in the same place as before. He raised his blade and charged forward. And arrow struck his runite plate and glanced uselessly off it. Another arrow not so uselessly struck his left ear, essentially removing it. He screamed and fell to the ground. He vaugely heard the sound of footsteps over the rain. The captain forced his eyes open. Standing over him was a young man. He wore no shirt, so his muscular body could be seen. A large bow was in his left hand, which grasped it tightly. Most noteable was the strange mask on his face, not unlike a bugs face, horrifying and enchanting at the same time. Suddenly the captain remembered that this spectacle was his enemy. He swiftly swung his blade up, the man blocked with his large bow. The captain rolled back and prepared to attack again, when an arrow struck his left wrist. He let out a cry of agony and dropped his blade. His enemy let out something of a laugh and shot another at him. He managed to dodge. As another arrow narrowly missed him he realized attempting to attack him with close ranegd attacks would be futile. He reached to a pouch by his side and drew out a runite tipped dart. He leaped behind a log and reached into his supply bag. He hastily fumbled around inside it until his hand closed around his vial of weapon poison. He dipped the dart in it and leaped from behind the log. The man stumbled back, clearly startled and nearly fell. The dart glided from the captains hand, through the air, and cleanly into the warriors stomach. As the warrior fell, he reached for an arrow, missed and cut his fingers badly on the tips. The captain grabbed his blade from the ground and raised it high. For a moment it seemes as if he was'nt going to strike. However the warrior reached for an arrow once more and at that the captain's red blade was soaked with blood as it slashed the warriors head off. The captain turned from the corpse and walked back east. He was never again to be seen. It was said that his body was found, torn to shreds and covered with maggots near ardougne in a river, though it could not be determined if it was indeed his body. And as for the man he killed before his dissapearance, it will never be known what motive he had in being in the area, after all it was the residence of Zaros at the time.

That site has been posted a couple of times before. While it does look into the matter in great detail, they tend to make things that are probably nothing into something big. I didnt read past page 2 of this topic.. -
