I had finally got 43 prayer and finished monkey madness with me best friend, so i decided hey i'll do barrows! i stocked on pots and fire blast runes. then i did a trip with such ease, i pooned all the brothers and got ahrim in tunnel (back then i was 50 range) i ran around in circles trying to find ahrim then found him, potted and pooned em with rune arrows so i ran over to the chest which was next door and grabbed the prize. i'm sitting there with a disgusted face "umm what the...i spent 50k on this trip and got about 10k worth of runes" so i left thinking that barrows was a waste. A whole month had passed when i got the urge to goto barrows and i had just got ancients. Read a guide on tip.it about using prayer potions with ancients and i thought it would be ease. i arrived and kill everyone but forgot dharok! i'm sitting there in the tunnel waiting for dharok which was luckily tunnel *well i was crying that it was tunnel :lol: * so i searched around and froze em! then ran behind a rock and wait...then froze again! this was so easy he comes at me i hid again then went to freeze *splash* dharok has now reached me and gone BAM! then i saw a small red cloud with a 60 in it right above my chest. I was eating lobbys frantically! until he hit another 32!. I was dead and down hearted so i went on with a normal runescape life. trying to forget about barrows until one day my friend got 2 d meds and a guthans warspear from chest! i stocked up with modern magic and the stuff to kill dharok. I walked there killed em and searched the chest! hey it was 300 blood runes and 800 chaos. wow that paid for the whole trip and many to come. After that i went to barrows twice a week. I reached the number of dry runs 74! decided i'd round it up. did the normal, found a partner and got K0'ed by dharok. i had given up barrows for ever. Then my friend oh annoying friend decided to try members through my account and went barrows. He walked around in circles killing me and loosing my stuff until he gets a lucky break and finishes off dharok! i was happy that someone who has never done barrows did better then i! so i let him find the chest and bam! it opens for me to find a nice Veracs flail!! That was my first good amount of money (sold for 1.3) Now it be April and easter's past so i look on tip.it "KIll count experiment - vollunteers needed" i was in a good mood so i quickly ran for the reply button and submitted my name which was put on the list. (soon after vollunteering i actually looked at what i had to do) 50 runs of 15 kill count. nothing too bad. I ran around buying 1mil worth of prayer potions to use and found a really nice barrow partner "laik" on the way to barrows (she is on the 6kc team) so we go barrows, first trip "i dub my self da Junk-o-nator" then i go on the second trip and get my very first kharils cross bow! i was happy i actually got something again. So laik and i go for more trips, she had to log sometimes so i went with the cool satenza and once or twice with some other people who signed up. I had hit 29th run when i said to the chest "this is the one trip i don't want a barrows item because i am out of blood runes please grant me this" i walk up, lean over the chest, i start to cross my fingers but remmeber that i think superstition is oppsoite...i open the chest! and i found 160 bloods, i was doing a little dance around and tele'd to ecto. I started to walk back to bank and my brother has pointed out "Hey, whats that!?!" i was looking at a guthans plate skirt sitting in my invo....Oh yes! thanks to satenza, the valor, laik, Lord i now own my first peice of guthans...only the spear, body, helm to go! And now here i am today 8) 8)

This is not a market place but if anyone wants to buy a guthans skirt for 1-1.1 pm me

That is an oppinion with no facts to back it up, so that is why we are doing these tests (yet i qoute: I thnk :? )

I think most people have it figured out, but there are some things still unclear. Map: Refer to the other sections for more information on details cred to Umega for map The gates. KEEP THEM CLOSED. If there is a huge herd of monsters outside the gate, do not open it! It allows the melee monsters to get through (and most don't look very nice), and when the gate is open, the monsters standing right on the other side now have a nice clear shot at the Knight in the middle. We are supposed to protect him, not get him shot. You can't run through the monsters, so if there is a herd, and you want out, go through a differant gate. Portals, Knights, Gates. Although it is important to 'kill' the protals, we need to protect the knight in the middle, right? Right, so some people need to stick near him and watch for monsters shooting through the gates/walls, and monsters that end up in there, attacking him. Also if there is no one at a gate, you go there. They will destroy it. Spinners The Spinners can only heal the portal if it is next to it. thus if you can get it away from the portal atleast one square's distance it can't heal anymore. Kill the Spinners if you can though. Yes this is very true, and tip it is the one place where 1-3 groups are researching the picture behind it (The Valor, Satenza, Me, Laik - these are a select few that i know of)

Yes we will get some good picture from this We are not trying to find out what monster gives bolt racks and bloods if you kill x amount. We are trying to find out about KC in general and the rarity of barrow items if it increases, decreases or stays the same as any KC so do not try doubt, satenza has his reasons (i think)
