  1.

Unfortunately this one is only half the fact. We do start to gain dead cells as we grow older, but we never start 'dying' until we reach the age at which the amount of new cells created cannot keep up with the amount of dead cells.

I'm not talking about cells, or science. This is your life, and it's ending. You have some time on earth, and since the instant you were born, it has been getting smaller. You are dying, every second of your life.

If growing old is simply a mechanic of life, does that not mean it is natural? I think you are calling the wrong thing natural. Living through events that are meant to kill us using human artificial medicine is more unnatural then old age is.

What I referred to as a mechanic of life is the death of organisms before they grow old. In nature, anything old and weak will die. Darwinism, simple. Old age only exists because of human society and, like you say, modern medicine. Old age is unnatural, not death, as the culture would have you believe.

This is true. But again, artificial man made beauty is a lie. What happens in nature, the bodies we are born with, the faces that bloom. That is real beauty.

You are not beautiful. I am not beautiful. We are the same trash as everything else. We're raping mother earth while basking in the glorious Technicolor glow of super conducted semantics.

  2. But from a human perspective all those things exist. Sure time a limitation of our ability to precive an aditional dimension, but that makes it real (well to us anyway).

Just because you can measure it doesn't mean it's real. In fact, I challenge the very idea of numbers. To have two of something, of anything, you must be able to label them as the same thing. Two oranges. Two peaches. However no two things are the same. Each orange is unique. And a peach and an orange...dare I say that I have four fruit? Numbers are a symptom of human inexactitude. Lies in motion.

Measure time in seconds and minutes and whatever, but try to show me a second. Can you be here now? No, you are then. And you are going to be. But we are not now. I'm here now.

And not all of us here are dying, im sure theres a 12 year old around here someplace and you don't start to age (dont start dying) untill about 13 years old.

What do you mean? You start dying right after you are born. Living is the same as dying if you think about it. It's all the same process.

Old age is natural for most cretures. True, in nature a human would never make it there because or old age is much greater than many other speices. We would likely die of disese befor 50.

Erroneous; turtles live hundreds of years, humans are not unique. Old age is not natural, it is simply a mechanic of life that animals are not to grow old and weak. Think about it. Can you challenge Darwinism?

And the other stuff, well I dont have a clue what your talking about alot of the time. Personally I think you one of those people who think the big democratic nations are out to get everyone.

    Sorry, what big democratic nations?

  3. Beauty isn't a lie. It's part of our instincts to find the right mate to produce proper offsprings.

But has the instinct to mate become a lie because of overpopulation? Bring more people into this world so they can see it and feel it and touch it, but nobody can say anything that hasn't been felt before.

The way you talk about beauty it can be quantified. Small faces big eyes the right shape and size makes it right.

    This isn't real.

  4. Who am I to tell you about lies? A liar.

The first lie is that there is truth. Truth is not. Truth does not take place within time but is without presence or substance. Truth is the lack of illumination and thought. Knowledge is bliss, lies build the foundation for thought. The dog asleep and the wallpaper are truth.

The nation, the state, these are not built on lies but are the very embodiment of the first lie. Within the community the individual slowly disappears. The labor beyond necessary means to survive is expressed in money and artificial splendor is the result of money. The platinum and gold plated wris[bleep]ch tells time no better or worse than the free McDonald's plastic.

The second lie is that you are alive right now. You are dying. When animals get old, in nature, they die. Old age is unnatural. Ancient tribes protected their elders once like precious wisdom stolen from god. Now we don't know what to do with all the decrepit, the old, the [developmentally delayed]ed and disgusting, because we don't know what to do with ourselves.

The third lie is motion. Violence, force, reality, time. A clever illusion all in one. How many times today did your ask yourself "Am I dreaming?". Wake up. Somebody is knocking at your door. Open it and accept somebody quite like yourself. They want to ask you, what happened? I used to be happy, I used to go out and do things. Doing and thinking, the same in a healthy man. Happiness is nothingness. Time happens all at once.

Do you want to know what went wrong with America? Ask a woman. What is fashion? The fourth lie is beauty.

When people are in charge of other people it is always the same. First the followers must believe a lie. Any lie. It could be as simple as "I know better than you what you should do, with yourself." Doing is thinking. All thought requires a solid foundation of lies. Pure action, pure thought, truth. Lie, think, steal.

What is sex? A physical activity shared. The value of reproduction is gone, wiped away from our page in history. Our great grandchildren will ask our radioactive ashes why we just kept on reproducing and making babies and laughing at those cute little things they did while we let machines rape the planet all around us. Something cute. I won't ever breed.

A War on Terror. Go now and put out a fire with fire, and you shall see a war on terror. Go now and drive down to the gas station, if you want to know why we still fight then. If you do not fight a lie, you become part of it.

  5. just want to know what people that don't know that you play say about runescape

Most people I know have never heard of it so if I talk about it they just say "Oh it's like World of Warcraft".

it was this game on miniclip where your are a stick figure and you run around and kill things

Runescape could be describe as "Run around and kill things". Well, at least the way I play it.

  6. Also, the amount of money we pay for the game is a really weak excuse, and I'd actually feel no fear in telling the Gowers that. I'd happily pay upto about ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã7.50 ($15) for the privalges of membership. They could also squeeze F2P, making it a 30-day trial period, at which point you either have to make a new account, or upgrade. To refer to the macro point, that would deal a little bit of damage to the F2P macro problem. The issue there is that we're paying for a service. If I bought an MP3 player for ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã20, and it broke within a weak, it'd be hard for the store I bought it off to use the excuse, "Well, it was only ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã20. What did you expect?".

Free to play is a necessary element of Runescape because of the user base of the game, which includes many kids who might not have means to pay for membership or buy membership for a short time then play free to play then switch back etc.... Also Runescape makes a large amount of money on advertisements. Bots don't click ads, though Jagex might record them as a unique visitor viewing the advertisement, thus creating a gap...obviously the business model changes as many people get membership but Jagex can't even keep an advertisement off their news and update pages? What about the level 3 default-clothed bots? These aren't game ruining defects but they are not unreasonably hard problems to solve.. Jagex make millions but Runescape is still treated as Andrews college hobby in some ways, it seems.

Bots aren't really ruining Free to play, and the gameplay is solid for a free experience. It seems the updates to shops and such (ironically in keeping with the world governments bailing out of the financial markets... <.< ) has balanced the economy. There isn't anything truly wrong with Runescape, it could be better and it could be much worse. +

We need Runescape Classic back. Seriously, how much money does it cost to run a couple MUD servers? Making the source public would be an even better move. Yeah, I could deobfuscate it myself, but I can't. I'm lazy. Who cares, I'm mediocre.

I see where you're going with this, some things (i.e Iraq) were planned badly. However I think i am going to have to agree with the Editor on this one, a lot of the things the government does are probably a lot harder than it looks like. All my friends keep saying that if so-and-so is elected president then the country will be fixed, but I think the editor has a point, if it was so easy to fix then how come no one has done it yet?

Pshh, Iraq was planned perfectly. The invading forces operate from fortified bases while pumping the oil out of the country as fast as possible while pitting the locals against eachother in a bloody religious conflict that has been fermented by years of clandestine cold-war operations. Greenspan who was Chairman of the Federal Reserve for decades, a leading position in the highest echelon of the US government, has asserted that the Iraq War is all about oil. It was planned brillianty.

I agree with this article, most of it at least. But in the own shoes thing, no I won't think of me doing a better job or anything. But I can think there are people better suited to doing it. Knowing I can't do a better job does not mean I cannot criticize, I pay for the service, I expect the service to be good. I pay for the plumber, I don't know plumbing. But if he can't fix it, I find a better plumber.

Well there is no alternative provider of Runescape, just Jagex. However I agree that Runescape should be objectively examined regardless of previous knowledge on programming. It would appear as if Jagex is not doing all in its power to fix certain flaws yet if Jagex has the ability and chooses through meta decision making that it is better to leave some things alone I would not be surprised and this would be an example of forward thinking.

  7. Why do people say the war is over oil when its cost Billions of dollars for this war (and still going) and yet their not even going to make that back with the oil they get? :?

I personally think Bush just wants to finish off what his Dad started. As well as hundreds of other contributing factors we may/may not know of.

The congress voted to "Authorize force" in Iraq. Are you telling me they were all completely fooled by the weapons of mass destruction line or the spurious connections to 9/11? Not likely. It's not all about Bush, man. He isn't a dictator who can just make stuff up and everybody will go along with it.

  8. Sumpta13, I know this isn't the best place to have this debate, but I just want to throw some opinions out there for people who are my age who might not otherwise be exposed to them.

You have an interesting point of view on the reasons behind what Bush does, though I wouldn't agree that he actually makes many important decisions, but I can suspend my opinion that he is just a figurehead for a minute. I agree that there are many internal social issues in the US that are unsolvable under the current government. Some of these are connected to the failed US economic policy in the Middle East directly, some indirectly. For example poverty in the US is is somewhat connected to the increasing role of the service industry and its replacement of the manufacturing and agricultural industries as the main source of income for Americans. The fiat currency of the US made possible by OPEC allows the system of debt that sponsors the warfare/welfare state and allows outsourcing and hence less jobs in manufacturing and agriculture.

What policy Americans think is the most important one, incidentally, doesn't matter much. There is alot of "Voter fraud investigation" going on by Republicans. That means voter "Caging". Basically, disenfranchising voters.

    http://www.gregpalast.com/greg-palast-i ... #more-1740

That is what is really going on with the US attorney scandal, but nobody wants to talk about it. American public opinion doesn't matter so much, as long as people aren't in the streets rioting. You are wrong if you think Americans are being convinced to agree with the administrations policy, 9/11 simply made people apathetic. People get bored of waving the flag, rather quickly, but they still get a little rush when they see it around everywhere. They may forget that 9/11 and Iraq are not connected and it is purely economic policy why we are there, but on some deeper level they still feel it. It is quite pathetic really, my people, everyone, they are just flag-suckers. Iraq was invaded because Saddam tried to get Euros for his oil instead of dollars. Iran is trying, right now, and they might be next.

  9. Because we have a [developmentally delayed] president?

You can't blame huge geopolitical events on individuals. To make such reductions is simply childish. There are huge intangible forces in this world, economic shifts and political maneuvers. George Bush may or may not be an idiot, the reasons behind the war in Iraq have little to do with his intelligence. He is not a dictator who makes decisions by himself nor is he the arbiter of what the executive branch of the US government actually does.

  10. If I believed in the bible, sworddude, I would probably say something complicated and meaningless about free will right now, but I don't. I would very much like for this thread to stay on topic, I didn't mean to start a debate with the topic title, just make it catchy.

  11. Sworddude, I would agree with the statement that the war is over oil. Another way of saying it would be that the war is to ensure that most oil is sold for US dollars instead of Euros. Hence the timing of the war relative to the Euro's emergence/Saddam selling his oil for Euros. This connects with the friction that is going on between the US and Iran, another oil producing state which is heading toward selling their oil for Euros instead of the standard US dollars.

We fight because we are the most good creatures on this planet, as well as being the most evil. Without hate, is there love?

Sumpta, your bullet points intrigue and confuse me. What internal issues is George Bush managing to evade by invading Iraq and what makes you think that an individual is behind the policies of the US? Obviously the war in Iraq keeps the fiat currency of the US propped up if that is what you mean, but if so you are merely agreeing with my position. Your vagaries leave me no other choice to assume you are, however.

To the second point, how is 9/11 connected with Iraq? And other than causing a change in US public opinion how is a post 9/11 world significantly different? Iraq selling their oil for euros instead of dollars had alot more to do with why the war with Iraq began than 9/11. Also to address the third point, define the "Long economical war" with the middle east. Perhaps you are speaking of the post-Bretton Woods agreement with OPEC to price oil in US dollars, changing the dollar from the gold standard to black gold?

Finally, you can't just say "The long political history of the..." etc.. You are merely telling me what you should be talking about and points you should be raising, without making the effort. If you don't have anything to say, say nothing. It's sad, especially when you have almost talked about important things, such as Russias war in Afghanistan and Israels role in Middle Eastern politics. But if you are merely bringing up talking points without stating an opinion or actually expressing any independent thought whatsover, I'm not going to debate myself for your benifit.

  12. Why is there a war in Iraq?

Give me your opinion if you like. I believe there is a war in Iraq because of dollar hegemony. Here is a relatively complete outline of the economic situation.

  13. Not too surprising really, it's been going on since Reagen's "Star Wars" program. It's too bad that the Chinese can shoot down our satellites and have a massive advantage of us in every way militarily (read the Art of War by Sun Tzu for more info). In 2007 the US government will end up spending over a trillion dollars for "Defense", though the US military is geared so heavily toward fighting third world nations (bunker busters, heavy tanks, etc...) that it doesn't stand a chance against China (EMPs, divisions of hackers, etc...)

  14. There is alot of evil in the world and alot of beauty and good as well, but nothing is absolute. The good cannot exist unless there is some evil to compare it to. All you can do is try to enjoy this one moment of life as much as possible, to be here now and appreciate it as much as you can. He who increases his wealth increases his cares and a content heart is a hidden treasure.

  17. There are literally thoousands of tapes of BBC recordings lost. entire series of Doctor Who missing and live televisions broadcasts which noone has ever found the tapes for.

You really are incredibly and dangerously naieve. Can you please stop just posting one liner comments and a link and actually explain your opinions in your own writing without quoting other people? Maybe then while writing it you will realise how absurd it all is.

You're comparing Doctor Who to 9/11 and I'm dangerously naieve. Ok, sure. And 9/11 was the most important news moment of the 21st century, I don't think the BBC lost their tapes. And if they did, so what? All of this is secondary to the fact that WTC7 was not destroyed by fire or by debris from the falling North Tower.

Allow me to clarify something for you..We don't have media blackout in America. We don't have Media control in America....wish we did sometimes...you can't hide crap from these story hungry vultures...not Monica Lewinsky, not the blue dress, not Abu Grahbi, nothing...they ferret out every single thread of a story, and when in doubt, they make it up as they go along, anything for a headline....so if you seriously think we blew up our own buildings with innocent men, women and children inside, just to incite the world, and gather support for a "War for Oil" Rolling Eyes you might want to reconsider. You can surf the net and find a conspiracy theory for everything...they can show you convincing evidence that the world is flat, we never landed on the moon, the great flood really happened, and the moon is made of green cheese...at some point you got to use your noggin.

    Don't believe the hype.

The media reports what they want you to know, not what you want to know. Sure, Monica Lewinsky was a big scandal, but JFK had just as many trysts and the media did not report on these, though they could have. Everything is politics and image.

Now I'm going to "Use my noggin" and question: Why did WTC7 fall?

and on your Iraqi comment..how much time you spent in Iraq? I have been here now since November of 2006...eye opening experience if I do say so. We aren't killing the innocent...they are killing each other, they have no problem leaving their kids in the car, and walking away to blow it up just to kill a few of their own people, and maybe even an american or two. They leave their kids in the car now, so we don't suspect it is a bomb. Before we got here, hundreds of thousands were massacred at the whim of a madman.....oh by the way, he's dead now and so are his sons. They assaulted, abducted and murdered many many people. Speak not of what you know little of.

I have not spent any time in Iraq. Saddam was a terrible person, ok. Yet he was sold his chemical weapons by the US, and was installed into power by the CIA.

    http://www.bushflash.com/thanks.html

I don't support the troops. Sorry. Military adventurism goes against the principles upon which my country, the United States, was founded. I do support human life.

A lot of people have uneducated opinions about what's going on here, and the severely biased media plays what sells the most hype. Just the nature of the beast.

The media doesn't report the truth. It reports what sells. You're right. The fact that the government can't explain how World Trade Center 7 fell doesn't sell. The fact that there are thousands of mercenaries in Iraq doesn't sell. And the fact that there are good things happening in Iraq (such as the building of schools and churches, getting power and sewage set up, etc..) doesn't sell, why? Because there is no school in Iraq that is worth the life of an American citizen.

  18. Dude, hello? If anything happened at all it'd be under the carpet and not available to the mass media. If the media was involved then they'd be milking this story like you for all it's worth. And why do you propose CNN would've found anything out? The biggest disaster would be to give any information to the media. And if CNN was involved, why bring BBC into it too? Were they hoping a huge conspiracy would raise their stocks?

You have a serious issue with not giving any real reason behind any of this, or for that matter answering most of these questions.

The "Reason" you ask for is above. It's clearly outline in PNAC documents.

The media is involved. They reported on "Operation Iraqi Freedom"...as if all of Iraq was a giant slave camp. More than half a million innocent Iraqis have died since the US invasion and occupation This is an example of media bias.

How much coverage does the miraculous collapse of WTC7 get on the media? None. Zero. Zip. And do you know how amazing it is for a skyscraper to collapse? It's pretty amazing. And it's not as if the collapse of WTC7 was even mention in the "9/11 Commission Report" the supposed authoritive document on the terrorist attacks. The government has yet to explain how it fell. This is big news. But the media is silent. This is an example of media blackout.

Now I don't agree with you that the "Biggest disaster would be to give any information to the media". By giving reports to the media that WTC7 was on fire, that it was nearing collapse, etc...it suggests to people that the collapse was plausible. The footage was only played once on TV while the collapse of the twin towers was played over and over again. The government doesn't need to black out the media completely, a little misinformation goes a long way.

  19. I'm curious, pault, why would the United States attack itself in 9/11? What benefit would they gain?

Established in the spring of 1997 and funded largely by the energy and arms industries, the Project for the New American Century was founded as the neoconservative think tank whose stated goal was to usher in a ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬Ånew American centuryÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
  20. It is rubbish to see a reporter standing in front of a building and say it just collapsed. It is rubbish for a major news corporation to say they "Lost the tapes" of the largest news event of the century. It is not rubbish to bring these things up.

How many intelligent people have responded to the sudden disintegration of 7 World Trade Center with something akin to: "It sure looks like demolition, but I'm no physicist". Somewhere in the fog over which side owns the most credible experts, most everyone seems to have forgotten that it doesn't require an expert to tell the difference between controlled demolition and a towering inferno. Prior to September 11, 2001, no human has ever confused one for the other, because these types of occurrences have relatively little in common.

Clearly, the keepers have been remarkably successful at the gate. Being ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅexpertsÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
