  1. When I key I don't usually have a gate down. That way when I come across a gd or a skill door I can't do then I can just gate and bring gt there quickly.

I find it better to have a gate down and run with the GGS. That way if I run into a GD I can drop the GGS and continue with the other doors.

  2. Generally Melee > Mage > Range. Since you can't (or don't want to) use melee, go with mage. Melee can handle everything, with the exception of Necrolord, that range is good for (i.e. magical creatures). Using mage will allow you to hit the forgotten warriors that have insanely high melee and range defence.

  3. Since you can't get a primal baxe you should stick with your prom 2h and berserker. Even if you could get the baxe, the 2h might be better since you don't key that much.

Spending points on desperado is fine since you can always get your tokens back. Unless you have a hexhunter (which you shouldn't since it should only be considered for 3rd or 4th binds), you will only be using your desperado against Necrolords. So, while there's little use for it, there's no harm getting it.

  4. Ok, I was doing some math while trying to decide between getting a rapier or cbow. (If I get a rapier it would be for frost dragons and slayer after I get 99 att with whip, cbow would be for Arma and pvp stuff)

I was thinking about what weapon I would use for frost dragons if I did get a cbow, and I think I found something that a lot of people have overlooked.

I might be wrong, so check my logic and math please

Ok, so chaotic rapier/long cost 2m every 10 hours or 200k/hr, right?

So, you should be making at least 200k/hr extra when using them for it to be worth it, right?

so 200k/16k = about 12 extra bones to get per hour to make that 200k back...

    60/12=5 Extra Kills PER MINUTE

And that's not possible to even get 5 kills per minute is it, let alone 5 extra kills?

So am I wrong (and please tell me where my error is) or what?

Your math is wrong. You need to kill at least 1 more dragon per 5 minutes, not 5 more dragons per minute. Simple dimensional analysis should tell you that.

  5. Follow the above advice except that you can get hood on lower floors - it's just more common on higher ones. It is true that the expert teams require you to use hoods, but you aren't going to get into an expert team any time soon anyway. Just do the highest floors you can do on 5:5 larges and you should get a hood by the time you can start thinking about those teams.

  6. I used this guide: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Partying_is_Such_Sweet_Sorrow

    Choose the following options:

    1. Hello, enjoying the party?

    2. So, what do people call you?

    3. Sheesh, you're an idiot.

    4. Sorry, how about I make it up to you with another drink?

    5. Exactly how drunk are you?

    6. A vampire and a werewolf walk into a bar...

    7. Do you know Grim?

    8. Can I get a million XP? (optional)

    9. Can I get an autograph for Grim?

  7. Just a few updates:

    1.
    2. There is now Ardougne Cloak 4 (although it is not superior to Cloak 3).
    3. It seems that the Dungeoneering Master Cape doesn't (or no longer) provides a prayer bonus over regular trimmed skillcapes, so it is no longer as heavily recommended.
    4. There is now elite void, which should help to lengthen chinning trips (and cut costs) significantly.

Also, I will soon be far too busy to update this guide or answer questions regularly due to real life commitments.

  8. 2Hs require 4 bars - it just takes 1-2 promethium rocks and a decent ring to get them. As far as I know the floor doesn't affect the number of mining rocks you get. To maximise the number of promethium rocks you get you will want to do a large floor with a team of high level miners. If you do so it will be almost impossible to not get enough ores for a P2H.

  9. Is just running through complexity 1 really the best way to do it? Cause I'm only getting like 21xp per dungeon and it's taking me like 5 minutes or more to do it.

If you are taking 5 minutes or more to do c1 dungeons, you must be doing something wrong. Even if you are soloing you should be able to average 3 minutes or so. Try to do c1s in teams: you should be able to do c1s in under 3 minutes (including 30 seconds wait) easily.

  10. As said above elite top and bottom can only be stored separately; to store normal elite you must have all three pieces (top, bottom, and gloves). So, unless you have an extra top and bottom, you will have to store some pieces in your bank.

  11. Bind law runes instead of sagi arrows. World 77 has been poor ever since it was made a dungeoneering world. Quite a lot of those from 77 shifted to 148, so try 148 when you get your dungeoneering level high enough (probably 80 or so).

  12. It is quite easy to win if you know what you're doing. I've only been playing for 2 days and am over 2000 rank already. I won't share my exact setup, but in general, champions, scouts and halberdiers are the best pieces. Make sure you get 4 commands too. Don't bother with regeneration, bombard, or winds of fate. Charge + battle cry is a must.

  13. These are my predictions for the some of the top players.

I speculate that Skiller could reach all 200m skills, but I don't see him being the first to do so, as he does not play as much as Drumgun or S U O M I.

I believe that Zarfot, will be another Zezima/Gertjaars, and end up retiring and/or quitting. I have a feeling that his main downfall will be his popularity with the masses of Runescape.

Jdelacroix, I don't see as maxing out 200m in all skills, just because he doesn't put off that vibe, that all 200m skills is his goal.

Drumgun could have a chance to be first to all 200m but, he would have to keep on grinding for the next 5 years, and somehow pass S U O M I, in the process of the slower skills.

Gertjaars is retired, he could resume playing, but I highly doubt it.

Lan, I feel has a greater chance than Jdelacroix to get all 200m, but again I don't see him wanting that goal.

Telmomarques, I think for a while Telmo maybe the #1 player in both XP/Total Level, but I see him quitting such as Zezima/Gertjaars.

Green098, I really do think she has a chance to max out all 200m skills, but most definitely not the first to do so.

S U O M I, IMO has the best chance. 200m Mining, Agility, Fishing, are generally only trainable at slow rates compared to most skills, and have a lack of XP in other skills, except for the Mining/Superheat can be combined. However she hasn't started Farming, which can be a huge problem later.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is how i feel that for maximum effiency, skills should be trained.

    1.) 200m Hunter + 200m Dungeoneering (After Warped) + 200m Thieving

(While Merching for Buyables) (3/25 Skills)

These three skills offer above 200k+ XP/HR after lvl 99/120 (Most likely safe from any dramatic XP/HR increases)

They don't cost either allowing you to not spend much money while merching

    1.5) Begin Farming

2.) Next Buyables should be done in no particular order

    200m Cooking

    200m Fletching

    200m Prayer

200m Herblore (Try to do potions that would help speed up Slayer) (Suggested to do on a 2x weekend)

    200m Construction

    200m Crafting

    200m Firemaking

    (10/25 Skills)

    3.) Slayer + Melee + Ranged + Summ

Train Slayer while cannoning and pick up charms.

(Effigies for RC, should gain around 50-100m RC)

3.5) Burst for Charms, if you don't get enough for 200m Summ

    (17/25 Skills)

    4.) Mining + Magic + Smithing

Mine Gold ore at LRC and superheat the ore, then drop.

    (20/25)

    5.) Train to 200m Woodcutting

    (21/25)

    6.) Train to 200m Agility/Fishing

    (23/25)

    7.) Finish RC/Farming.

    25/25

Steps 5,6,7 are best to do at the end, because those skills are most likey to get a dramatic increase in XP/HR.

    l

A rough estimate has each effigy saving 1.5 hours of skilling time, and requiring 1.5 hours of TDs to obtain. Since the skills that effigies are optimally used on give little or no profit, there is no loss of potential profit in using effigies and so the profit from TDs is obtained in zero time. From this, assuming that RC is not sped up in the future, the most time-efficient way is to keep killing TDs after 200M slayer for 200M RC. In the process one would obtain more than enough charms for 200M summoning, and about 10B profit, drastically reducing the need to merchant. This also means that buyables should not be done before slayer (in any case, slayer gives free prayer and herb xp via bonecrusher and herbicide respectively).

Also, doing hunter and thieving so early would be wasting effigy xp.

Hence, this would be a better order:

    1.) 200m Dungeoneering (After Warped)

    (While Merching for Buyables)

    2.) Begin Farming

    3.) Slayer + Melee + Ranged + Summ

Train Slayer while cannoning and pick up charms.

(Effigies for RC, should gain around 50-100m RC)

    4.) RC via TDs

5.) Everything else. Order does not matter except that mining/magic/smithing should be done concurrently and that agility should be done after hunter and fishing.

  14. The Void Stares Back marks the end of the Void Knight quest series we started this summer. So far, you have investigated and tracked a released pest; unscrambled Korasi's memories; witnessed the death of Void Knights at the hands of a mysterious figure; pushed around beer barrels; infiltrated a Black Knight workshop; and played with puzzle boxes.

Once more, the Void Knights call on you for assistance. Their skills at stealth are not nearly as keen as your own and Korasi needs you to infiltrate the Black Knights again. Doing so will lead to many dangers, both mental and physical, but will enable you to discover who the real mastermind behind this nefarious pest-fuelled plot is, and what they really wanted those puzzle boxes for...

Finding out is the easy part, though, as stopping them will push your diplomatic and strategic skills to the limit as you command your knightly allies against a truly unhinged foe. Oh, and you might want to brush up on your Conquest tactics as well.

After all of these trials, tribulations and moral quandaries, your standing among the Void Knights will be judged, but we're sure youll not be found wanting...as you'll also be thoroughly rewarded with a variety of experience and some upgraded Void Knight gear that shows off your true colours.

    In other news...

The various Deflect curses now work properly with the God Wars Dungeons boss, Kree'arra. Previously, it would ignore the Deflect curses, but worked with the normal Protect From prayers.

A quick option has been added to altars in Daemonheim to allow you to quickly restore your Prayer points. Thats particularly useful if you're in combat at the time!

Moved some of the higher parts of the Wilderness wall so preferred runecrafting routes are unaffected.

Using an empty plant pot on a farming patch will now fill all of the empty ones in your inventory.

The login screen has been simplified and reworked to make it even easier to login.

You'll now arrive closer to the Blood Altar when travelling there via the Abyss.

We've fixed the magical blastbox to work correctly with the Fire Bolt spell.

Added a confirm message when dismantling godswords.

  15. Almost all the 100+ dungeoneerers I've seen bind hood + 2h/baxe + platebody. Although the blood necklace is an option, I think it is inferior to the platebody due to its minimal bonuses and healing abilities. Personally, I have hood and baxe bound, will bind a platebody as soon as I get 100 dungeoneering, and will switch to a hexhunter when I get one.
