  2. The 5 second rule can be turned on in the set-up menu before you start trading, hense before you see the other guy's tempting offer. So if you are on your way to world 1 and think that someone will probably try to scam you, then u turn it on and no one complains about being scammed anymore.

  4. I'm not saying that scaming is a bad thing and should be stopped, but incase anyone cares this is how you, or rather Jagex, do it. I'm going to make a wild assumption that 80% of the time scammers succeed in taking your money is because no one bothers to look at the second trade screen. You get such a great deal, or so you think, that you want to hit "agree" as fast as possible so as to not allow the other guy (the scammer) to change his mind. Little do you know, he has altered the original deal. Trust me, I've been there. To stop this problem once and for all, Jagex needs to install a 5 second time limit before you can hit agree on the second trade window. Or in other words, you can't hit agree on the second trade window for at least 5 seconds. That way your basically forced to look at the second trade window and no ones feelings get hurt while you stall to finish the trade. Now I'm not saying this is completely fool proof because there are some people that, I believe, would manage to get scammed even then. But that way at least only idiots would lose their hard earned valuables. 8)
