Why not leave the church tomorrow? :? Doh, I need my parents' permission (well my mother left church too) and I asked if I could leave the church, they said NO. (Well no straight, but I think I have to wait for 7 years) Can't you just stay away? Come on! It's YOUR life, not theirs! If you make a decision they just have to life with that! :?

That was Jesus. Ever read the bible? God made the world, Jesus was the son of God. Ever read the Bible? Jesus was God. How can he be God and the son of God? If he were both, wouldn't that make him his own father and his own son? Just curious. The first verses of the gospel of John state that Christ is God. It's weird for me to think about too. Also, every English translation has God saying in Genesis 1:26 "Let US make man in OUR own image", I think this implies or at least helps, the trinity argument. Also, in Micah 5, there is a prophecy for Christs' birth and Micah states that Christ has existed before the creation of the world. Fuss about a fairy-tale :? You really are "out of order"

Is there proof of gravity? :shock: Nuhuh, Gravity is only a theory; I propose intelligent falling, gravity is so complex that it needs to be created by a 'pusher'. I believe the person pushing us to the 'centre of gravity' is God. Teach the controversyÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ Yeah right and when god is in a bad mood he'll squash us 8) :lol:

They invented "floodprograms" for that. When you are trading and use one, they won't punish you (mods use them too). It makes trading easier. I understand the pro's and contra's for your idea though, cuz there are allways people who abuse these kind of things...

Is there proof of gravity? Nope, but we assume it exists because EVERYBODY notices it. Can't say the same thing about god... With gravity, it went this way: Theories --> hey, let's call this phenomenon "gravity" (first there was "proof" and everybody could "see" it) With religion this way: God --> hey, let's create some nice theories to convince people. (no proof and not everyone believes it) Can't compare religion to science :wink:

First of all, that's not dutch, it's a kind of dialect that comes from the netherlands. I'll translate it in normal dutch, maybe that isn't the point but a translator will translate it. " Het kan me niet schelen idioot, dan had je me maar je spullen niet moeten geven. Los het zelf maar op, en ga vieze dingen doen met je moeder ". Translation: " I don't care idiot, you shouldn't have given me those stuff. It aren't my problems, go f**k your mother ". It's a childish reaction, and i'm not suprised it comes from a dutch guy :lol: :oops: It is Dutch, but it's "streetlanguage".... Some ppl here really say such things to eachother :S

THIS is the reason I see theists (speficially christians) as arrogant. What an idiotic and offensive thing to say. Better people? Eh what planet are you from? You mean if you have a religion you are good? Well, take christianity for example: What about the crusades? Killing people in the name of god IS NOT GOOD! What about the witchprosecutes? Burn them at the stake because you were scared!? Killing indians, because they had a copper-colored skin. THAT is far from good in my eyes!!! Muslims: They don't even know how to treat a woman right. They kill animals when a new muslim is born :evil: Jews: Annexed IsraÃÆÃâÃâël because the bible said that they belong there. :?
