yeah, if you do on black it wont look good cuz of the black letters and shapes.

yeah, its a start but to go further, try drawing with the pencil tool instead of brush tool(the tree). and add shading and such.

yeah, looks not too bad, if ya dont want to add a background why not make the black become transparant and just put an outline on the rest and maybe will look cooler.

looks, really nice nadril. its not totally grungy any more , this this looks good!

i like the first one better too, like fire said the background looks better, and the chars there seen to fit better in the image than in the other one.
