  1. IMO, anyone that can afford a santa hat and also wants one to complete with the suit already got it ahead of time. The majority of people that can earn up to 20m should have the common sense to know buying ahead of the fad saves a lot of money. Therefore, I get the feeling people investing in santas now to sell at Christmas are going to be in for a nasty surprise.

  2. Depending on what I'm doing. Right now getting 99 FMing so I wear full Dagon, Pray cape, and SGS. When I was going for 99 Pray I wore the best weight reducer with a santa. When I went for 99 Range it was my aviansie gear. The list goes on. But usually I would be in the best looking gear that goes with one of my skill capes depending on which one I'm in the mood for.

  3. RCing is for me, the hardest skill of all time. The XP/load ratio is just way too low even though it is extremely profitable. IMO, here's my list of the skills in RS from easiest to hardest:

24-Cooking-The only skill I found that I could both watch a TV, click about 3 times a load, and still get a level at 95+ in less then 4 hours. Also loses little to no cash.

23-Fletching-Same reason as Cooking, although stringing the bows take just a tad more time and attention.

22-Strength-Way too common of a cape, easily achieved in PC. Although this might also be my biased opinion as I dislike melee combat with a passion (Don't ask why, i don't know. I just don't like it.)

21-Attack-Same explanation as Strength. Also might be easier as Whip has a Accurate option

20-Magic-High alch, Humidify, Plank Make. With enough cash, a piece of cake.

19-Defense-Now a lot of people hates defense training, but it has also been tainted by PC.

18-Hunter-Very Very fast xp/hr ratio. Red Chins being stackable only helps it more.

17-Thieving-Way too fast xp/hr ratio. However, you must pay 100% attention

16-Woodcutting-Click and afk. Easily achieved if one has the patience.

    15-Fishing-Interchangeable with Woodcutting

14-Range-Of course Red chins is ridiculously fast xp, but I prided myself and got 99 Range with out using one chin. It was no joke.

13-HP-Just being 1/4 the speed of training any other single combat skill is enough to push this above any other combat skill ranking

12-Firemaking-Currently training for this. I still believe this is the most underrated skill in terms of ease to train. The clicking is unbearable and I'm only lvl 91.

11-Prayer-Costs a lot, but easily achieved once you have the cash

10-Farming-Either spend a lot of money with trees or gain a lot of money with herbs.

9-Smithing-Loses less money then most people make out to believe. A few clicks on making unf. bolts and you get really fast xp

    8-Crafting-Green D-hide bodies anyone?

7-Construction-Costs insane amount of money, but that's about it.

6-Agility-After achieving 70 Agility, i felt like hanging a bunch of monkeys and torturing them. Then again, some people say Ape Atoll becomes easier after 75.

5-Summoning-Not that hard at Waterfiends, overrated.

4-Herblore-Loses a lot of money, and I am one of those person that empties 2 pots in an inventory every time I try to combine potions.

3-Mining-Clicking on 1 rock after another takes a large toll on you

    2-Slayer-It's... Slayer... enough said....

1-RC-A blood rune, the highest possible rune that someone can currently make, gives out 10.5xp, that along with a maximum of 61 ess carried possible in one inven(4 max pouch and familiar) is about 640.5xp per inven. Try doing that for 1m xp and your making 1562 trips. If that's not insane I don't know what is.

  4. Top + Bottom = Great for pking and high risk environments. Xbow, good for CW if you feel like spending the cash (basically a C bow 8/10 that hits at around MSB speed). Coif..... coif..... *toss in garbage can*

  5. *checks RS main page* "There are currently 126646 people playing!"

Nope from what I see, RS is alive and well. As for those people saying "Oh! but hey! it used to say 200,000 people are playing a year ago!" I'd like to point out 100,000 of them are bald, level 3s, wearing their khaki shirts and green pants, slaving over yew logs or flax fields making my goal of 99 woodcutting a pain in the (bleep). From what I see, besides a few items in the GE (3a items, phats, D claws) are off in prices, RS has become so much better.

  6. Personally, I think the knowledge base is enough of a basic guide for people who wants to try new things. People then develop their own styles in a particular way of playing. Ex. Some people like to get runes and ancient in SC, others pickpocket to disable mages, others skill to gain the max points possible. It is all different ways to play the same game. As for GWD, each player enjoys a different boss and likes to repeat that boss over and over again and develop their own styles. I used to be into hunting Sara Encampment, now I do Arma Stronghold because the price of Sara hilts have gone down. It really all boils down to preference. By creating a in depth tutorial/guide, everyone would all choose one method shown to them to play a game. That alone would make RS extremely boring and one-sided

  7. I find it funny that people are complaining about this because they lost one of the easiest ways to make money and gain edge in the game. It's the same idea as people that buy the pvp items or the people that invested in d plates. Do your research before you make a move. There is a saying that says "There's never a free lunch." Hopefully after losing a few million you'll learn a valuable lesson.

  8. I personally see the d chain as better then the d plate. d plate is much easier to obtain and honestly looks plain ugly (yucky poo stripes). d plate is basically an over hyped item that could not possibly live up to the expectations. the anticipation for it had to have been building for like 3-4 years. the only way it could have lived up to the expectations was if it can give u a +1000 str bonus and +100000000 in every defensive stat (exaggeration, you guys get what i mean).

  9. -What type of person will you add?

idk, sometime it just is a random person that i meet in like a mini game or while training for a goal that i just happend to rly enjoyed talking with. hard 2 explain

-How long will you need to talk to them before you add them?

probably 30minish if its a rly awsome convo, or never if the guys like "I N33D FRIENDZZZZZ!!"

-What type of person would you decline a friendship with?

random ppl that walks up to me and just go like "freinds?" people that really annoys me (look at example above)

-How would you break the news to them?

    list is full

-What would make you take someone off your friends list...

being really annoying (ex. begging for free stuff)

-...or even add them to the ignore list?

attempt at pw scamming. happend once in rsc when i made my first 400k, would never let it happen again.

  10. the word noob has no meaning anymore. i actually get people looking at me wearing a prayer cape and calling me a prayer noob. id like to see that lvl 70 in dmed and g plate try to grow wings outta his back and fly while golden light is shining on your head =p

  11. way too long.... gotta have played like 6 years at least... remember i got into it around the 6th grade and now im about to finish first semester in college.... even with my giant breaks that i took in between here and there... its gotta be 5000-7000 minimum. would be really scary to see how much time i spent on this game. then again, sometimes i just log on and watch tv or study while i let my character wc or w/e

  12. I have lended them from a friend once and tested them out at duel arena before I wanted to make the decision to buy them. Honestly, if it was a no armor/ranger/mage against me, it ripped them apart in 2 hits 7/10 times. However, once armor came into play, I find that I still had to rely on the gs for the last few hits. That could have something to do with my pethetic melee stats but it also told me that the 60-100m price tag in w2 was not worth it. I wouldnt pay more then 10m for these claws myself since I dont really enjoy pvp as much as pvm/skilling.
