I went there yesterday for first time slayer assignment. I ended up taking prayer pots and using protect from melee. Using black drag hide. They took a while to kill, so I would probably not bother in the future with them. I would probably change the assignment at Burthorpe as I do when I get Metal Drags. Normally I only get small amounts to kill, and it's not worth the time and effort killing them. Chances of getting a good drop are very small with the amounts I'm getting as well. I'd much rather get 160 Fire's than 11 Wyverns

If it's just flax picking you want, then the Elves place is by far the best place. There's a nice patch of flax right by the bank there. You would have to do the quest first to be able to use it though. There is a spinning wheel there as well, but Seers is probably faster for spinning.

I use Gnome glider and rings of dueling. I take glider from Al-Kharid to Gnome stronghold then on to Jungle, then run or walk to Altar, then use ring to tele to castle wars bank then use ring again to go back to glider in Al-Kharid. It sounds long, but the walk is the only part that takes a litle time. General store method costs money, and you run the risk of other players buing your ess before you can buy it back yourself.

Well thanks for replying. I thought it probably would be, but after 700 kills I thought I would post here to confirm. At least I am getting enough drops to pay for the arrows I'm using :lol:

Ok thanks. Anything else to know? Like what is best method to attack them with. Mage, melee or range? What prayer method is best to have on?

Can anyone offer some advice on fighting these please? Never had these before and have no idea of what to wear or what kind of attack method to use. So some idea of what to wear, what to take in my invent would be of great help. Thanks for reading and for any help offered.

I would go with Lobbie's Fish Lobbies, get a good amount then cook them and try to trade cooked for raw. It seems to be getting harer to trade cooked for raw, but there are players who still trade. Good Luck

Does anyone know the drop rate of the head of the Kurask? I would say I have killed roughly 600-650 Kurasks in the last 3 days and still not got a head drop.:cry: I've had Rune Longs, White Mystic Top, but no head
