Hi there. I came up with an idea last night to create a runescape blog that could be used to produce some short and very succint guides to help new free to play guys. I've spent soo long around different RS forums over the years that I am fairly knowledgeable at the game and thought that, by making some short but sweet guides, it could help people and prevent them getting too bogged down! If you would like to take a look and even offer me suggestions to improve new guides or make new ones please go here - . I would really appreciate the effort as I used to use tip.it a lot but the lack of succint guides offput me as a newbie and I feel that, with the community's help - this could be a good source of help. This is a tad off topic but I did it a combat level 52 with 23 defense and 60 magic. If it helps there is a safespot to the left as you walk in, could use it to run in and heal. Also if you activate protect from Magic prayer whilst you have the d-breath shield you wil neutralise the breath

Hi there, I'm a Member and need to know how to get my melle stats up fast. I ideally want level 60 attack and maybe 50 strength (I prefer attack though) mainly so I can wield a drag dagger or a Granite Maul. Could anyone offer me advice on how to get to 60 as quick as possible (I'll get my strength to 50 through quests) My current stats Combat 58 Attack 50 Strength 45 Defense 40 Magic 60 Prayer 43 Ranged 51 Hitpoints 50 Many thanks

I've been reading these posts and I personally Believe that we need to (as the tip.it community) establish what exactly is a fair sense of honour. We really need to take bits out of either code (the greed honour and anytihg goes) and merge them together. At least this way we would have one universal definition to work from and one ideal as a community - Just a thought.

You keep on going on about respect although there are a few things I would like to point out: 1) You say "if someone is scamming you report them and stop complaining" - Well you should, It was wrong for them to do it - but its also partially your fault for falling for the scam (I'm heavily against scamming but most are transparant) 2) You keep on going on about disrespect. I hate to tell you this but there is no such things as RESPECT!!! Players should be courteious and polite granted but you don't have to respect them. You should bring the teleblocks - because you are then saying "I'm prepared for this fight - I have worked hard" (to get 85 mage). Your attitude is very lazy when you cannot even be bothered to get the ability to prevent your opponent from escaping

I wholly agree with what you've said - I'm a low level main account and rely on prayer to give myself a chance in the wilderness (At my level I'm only 57 mage and I have to contend with 70 Rangers). This Honour system is greed based, I definitley agree with you there - part of using the wilderness is realising you go in there to fight other players and that you might die - therefore you must accept that people are gonna try and prevent that completley. Running away and teleing isn't cowardice - its sensibility. Eating is prolonging life. Although Pkers get annoyed when one of their potential kills gets away (like it does for me often :( ) Its living with it and moving on. Also I'd like to quote Davydude on 2 things: What exactly is the respect you refer to. The respect of just giving up and dying - so the other person can have the satisfaction of knowing that you stood by and let him kill you. I'm afraid that is not an Honourable death The Wilderness is Anarchy - you are entitled to do what you want (save anything against jagex rules :P). Think of everyone as a backstabber and rogue . No one wants to stand by and die just because some "honour code" says they shoulf. Satisfaction should come from the fact that you fought and nearly won. Just remember, your opponent is another rogue who (with an honour code) wants solely to grab items. Why respect a rogue? Sorry if that post made no sense or had a flaming edge to it but I feel strongly on this topic

Nice guide 9/10 but just to be picky I've found its quicker when going to the Coal mine to run south of McGrubors Wood's instead of your route, North

I make my own air runes and I am Runecrafting level 39 - Its just making the ignition runes could prove problematic (Deaths mainly)
