  1. ==Introduction==

    Many of us have Unlocked and used the prize of 'Throne of Miscellania', our own small workforce to gather resources for us so we dont have to!

    Now this isnt a suggestion to increase the yield of this minigame, thats fine as it is, what Im suggesting is for a more far-reaching range of resources for skills that it doesnt currently support or doesnt support very well.

    ====Initial Ideas for new resources========

    ~Essence, I feel this alone would entice people to give this minigame a second look, and soften the blow to mid to Mid-high RCers when Essence skyrockets when Blood runes become craftable. Also the perfect companion for the Avid Runecrafter, invest your workers in essence while you runecraft, while you runecraft you earn a repectable (but by no means inexhuastable) supply of essence to use next RCing Session

    ~Other tree types, Maple logs arent really used in bulk for anything other than combusting, oak could be used to stockpile for construction and yews well theyre self-explainitory, an exception would be Magic logs (possibly also yews) not being available to stop high WC being degraded.

    ~More Ore types, similar to the trees, here i would definately NOT have rune ores available, this could help alleviate the lack of mithril and adamantite ore I observe in the marketplace, which actually have some use now with the advent of the bolts and their specific effects and might actually motivate people to mine these 'forgotten ores' to build up quotas to make said bolts with.

  2. If someone feels driven to suicide or murder by a game then I think they have much more serious problems than the act of just playing games for hours on end, and if people do play games for 12 hours a day without being compeled to break the law, and they want to play like that then who are you to stop them? You wouldnt try to stop someone from biking if that was what they did 12 hours a day everyday would you now?

  3. they can only release 1 more combo staff...

    unlimited air + fire is too powerfull!

    unlimited air + water is too powerfull!

    unlimited air + earth it too powerfull!

    we already have earth + fire and earth + water...

    now they just have water + fire left... but then... whats the use of it?

    well, mud and lava staffes were invented to help out mage training arena people, using the high level enchants in the enchanting part of the game. a steam staff wouldn't do us any good, as there are absolutely NO spell that uses fire and water.

    So magic imbue doesnt exist? if people have the cash to use it for swift RC exp chances are theyll be willing to pay a one off price to streamline the process and get the most from it. PS i took the liberty of correcting smoke to steam ::'

  4. if all he had to do is say he had never been diagnoised as mentally ill to get a gun without having to having a background check or even a psychoananalyitical screening session beforehand then really how can guns be put under control? if all ive heard about gun control in america is true then id literally be able to fly over there today, give over $5000 and have a .50 caliber semiautomatic sniper rifle by this time tomorrow night, if thats the case it really is a miracle that there not more incidents like this.

  5. the definition of insaity is often quoted as the repetition of the same behaviour and expecting a different outcome. unless the vast majority of the population of the world change their opinion on guns then these massacres are going to keep on happening until the end of time. im not condoning what these lunatics do, but guns give too much control to the undisciplined and those unworthy of such responsibility.

  6.

    If someone has the nerve to bring a gun to school or shoot someone, nothing is going to stop them from getting a hold of a gun, all this would do is put guns solely in the hands of people who intend to use them to harm others, and leave everyone else screwed.

    If guns were banned when this happened, im pretty sure he would have gotten a gun anyway if he intended to kill himself after it all.

    This is a terrible event, and it wont be the last, but guns dont kill people, people kill people.

    ok lets not outlaw thalidomide, because it doesnt disfigure children, the women who take it do. really why do people need guns anyway? to shoot cans? why do you need a $500 chunk of metal to do that for when you can just pick up a stick, a rubber band and a rock and do it for free?
  7. 'The nation with the lowest crime rate on Earth is Switzerland. Every household is required by law to have at least one military issue assault rifle.'

    as posted by barihawk i couple of pages back.

    by word of law in England its actually illegal to not carry a sword while outside your home.

    and to those people who say a ban on guns will just increase the number of stabbings etc, even the most trained people on the planet would be hard pressed to kill a large group of people with a knife, at least with knives you can outrun the attacker or conceivably fight back.

  8. because its ancient...but that doesnt explain its tremendous defence.

    even if you drop it on a body of grass itll still shatter. even a cup is tougher. :lol:

    thats amazing... ive seen barrows armor on the ground without it being broken... and it wasnt that day it was released it was 8 months after it was released.

    and it may not explain its defense capabilities but it hints to things that are brittle such as concrete. when you pour concrete on the ground you can drive over it with 50 ton tanks for 20years or more on a regular basis and it will do nothing but maybe cause minor cracks that even the simplest of brick layers could patch with mortar and a trowel.

    how does that relate? well when use properly like i described above it is resilient and strong durable and considerably superior to alot of things in more ways then 1.

    now if you took a sold concrete block and started pounding on it with a hammer, you do a 10,000th of the pressure of a tank? and ull break it? or if you hoisted it on top of 2 pillars 1 end of the block each being held up by different pillars. the center of it could not hold much weight... maybe a ton?

    Exactly... there was some construction being done the other day in my neighborhood. There was a large piece of tarmac, and a backhoe, which must weigh 2-3 tons, was pushing on it trying to break it, and the 2-3 ton machine was lifted into the air, and the tarmac didn't break.

    Then a guy took a sledgehammer and bashed it to pieces.

    Yes, the world's weird. :|

    pressure decreases exponentially over increased surface area. hence why a needle cuts through your skin, whereas a punch doesnt put a hole through you. the punch has more force, but it effects a larger area so doesnt cut as well
  9. They shatter due to the leaving of the aura of the worthy the armour becomes annoyed and expend its hitpoints to actually pull the ground up to them, by a complex series of thermo-chemomantic reactions, such extertations cause the armour in question to melt upon contact with a larger mass, most commonly the ground.

  10. i reckon the drops are bound to the monster group on each server. each 'group' of the same type of monster in an area has a set cycle of drops, so when the server rolls back your getting the same sequence of drops in that cycle, which are obviously the same items
