  1. I have not recieved a response, thus that means I am still in the race.
  2. It is indeed a great place to be, even though some act immature. Some people do tend to believe that an IRC chat is not safe, which is akward as a lot of people use it. You will not regret it, if you join our IRC chat.
  3. Runescape, as we know, has been a very successful game created by Jagex Ltd. They have satisfied thousands of users throughout the world, putting smiles onto peoples faces to entertain their trustworthy users who enjoy and play the game on a regular basis. Runecape has been an ever-growing game for many years now. Some people first played runescape when classic was popular, and still play now, because of their gratification throughout the years in which jagex offers towards you. Nevertheless, there are people who have only joined a couple of hours ago, having starting the experience of a ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬Ålife time̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
  4. It seems like yesterday, RuneScape Classic was such a low rated game, but the game play was fantastic but the improvements Jagex has made, by implenting RuneScape 2 and keep adding new skills and new updates is just wonderful. When I first heard about RuneScape, I thought it would be like any other game and boring after a couple of weeks. It turned out that today, I have been playing RuneScape for 5 years. Over the past years I have acknowledged a lot of updates, including new skills as I mentioned before. A lot of us never saw these updates coming as the tray was full of skills, but Jagex decided to add life in RuneScape and implent new skills. We did not expect a lot of things, such as the dragon boots or RuneScape 2. Jagex has been suprising us a lot, and it seems like everyone is happy about a lot of updates, but some are not happy at all. We actually have to thank ourselves by suggesting a lot of new things that could easily fit in RuneScape. Thanks to the players, RuneScape still exists and it will keep existing until the raid of recruitment is over. The thing is, Jagex gets a lot of help from their players and if they wouldn't of gotten suggestions, they would of been stuck with their ideas. Discussion question; What do you as a player, expect from Jagex?
  5. Member of the Month I am not entirely sure if this has been suggested as of yet, but we could hold a Member of the Month competition. This would stimulate people to post in proper grammar, and think about what they are posting. Also this member would get a reward, such as "Senior Member" rank or "Local Moderator" as this person has shown dedication to the community. General Discussion I have had a close look in the General Discussion forums, and I see threads that don't really have any discussion value in it. Therefore we should make the General Discussion forums more stricter so people could post on real discussion, and not on "Who is the best RuneScape player" threads.
  6. Indeed, we need fresh new clan discussion clans, in order to get them we need people that are famous in the clan world and get them to moderate these boards.
  7. Thank you for the suggestion, I have added it to the list.
  8. Automatic typers are not against the rules, but I do not recommend using them as they contain malicious files/spyware. I suppose typing, is the only way or make a post on the official RuneScape forums.
  9. I would like to advise you, to watch the skill guides on the tip.it website. Click here It includes every skill, including combat.
  10. I recommend training at bandits, in the desert with guthans. You have no need for food, and it is very fast experience. They are the best to train on, to get your combat level up fast.
  11. Introduction Recently, I have noticed that people ask the same question, over and over, thus I decided to create a "Most common questions" thread, which contains all answers to the most common questions. It is hard for me to keep up, which questions are asked the most, so if you please bare with me, you could submit questions that are frequently asked. Hopefully, the majority finds this useful, as I would. Frequently Asked Questions What is the best place to mine iron ores? Free to play The best place to power mine iron ( Mine the iron, and drop them at the same spot ) is in the Scorpion Chasm in Al Kharid, it has three rocks next to each other, which means you can mine the iron ores very fast. However, if you wish to bank the iron ores, the best place to do so in Free To Play, are the rocks in the South-East Varrock mine. Pay to play In members, the best place to powern mine iron, are the rocks south of Ardougne. However, if you wish to bank the iron ores, the best place to mine the iron rocks, would be the rocks north-east of Yanille. How can I get an obsidian cape? Buy it from the TzHaar store for TokKu. Get it as a drop from the monsters in the fight caves. Or either you could buy them from a player for about 300,000gp. ( Price could have changed ) I just became a member, what should I do first? You could do a lot of things, when entering the member world, you could do quests, train on special monsters, earn money, etcetera. Important Member Quests Lost City Monkey Madness Plague City Hero's Quest Druidic Ritual Dwarf Cannon Priest in Peril Tears of Guthix Ways to earn money, in a member world You could do several things to earn money in a member world, including; merchanting, using your skills. I suggest using your skills, before merchanting, as merchanting takes a lot of patience. You could train the following skills, to make a lot of money. Skills you can train, as a member Construction Slayer Fletching Farming Herblore Agility Thieving Hunter Skills you could train, to earn money fast Runecrafting Fishing Mining Crafting Also have a view, to one of the Tip.it guides on what to do when you just became a member: here How do I get a dragon item drop? The best way to get dragon items, are to kill; Dragons Dust Devils Fire Giant What are rock crabs, and why do people train on them? Rock crabs are level 13, with a high hitpoint level of 50. These beastiary are easy to train on, when having a low level character on RuneScape. Mostly, this place is crowded. Also, these beastiary drop level 1 clue's, which may contain items of value. These creatures can be found at: Rellekka, Waterbirth Island and Sven the Helmsmen's Cave ( Olaf's Quest required to enter this cave ). More information: click here How can I make teleportation tablets? To make them, you will need to have soft clay and the runes required to cast the desired spell on them. Then, use a lectern, and choose to make the desired teleportation tablet. This may be done with anybody's house. Different lecturns can make different levels of teleportation tablets. To use these tablets, simply click on them and they would activate similiarly to how you would normally use the magic menu to cast the spells. To make these tablets, you will have to have the appropriate magic level for the tablets. However, when using them, anybody can use them. Still under construction! Good luck, Spenjoman
  12. My advise would be using the Al-Kharid furnace, it is the fastest way to smelt these balls. Falador is also an option, which I could advise, but I believe that Al-Kharid is the closest to the furnace. Also, I believe you could make around 600 - 1,000 cannon balls an hour, which is a marvelous way to make money, or either use to range at rock crabs.
  13. I recommend ranging them, as they are not able to hit you with their fireblast. Whilest using guthans, you will have to wear a dragonfire shield, which isn't possible. Conclusion: Ranging or either maging is the best way to defeat these marvelous dragons.
  14. It is not legal, SwiftSwitch has declared to be legal, any other programs besides SwiftSwitch and the official client, are illegal.
  15. I agree, but people should be satisfied about it, though.
  16. The wilderness was actually suggested by someone that became a Jagex Moderator, a month or two later.
  17. True, but all the things Jagex has made came from suggestions.
  18. I can give you a couple of things that are NEEDED, but the rest is just what you want to bring. Recommended Skill Levels: 80 Attack, 80 Strength, 80 Defense, 80 Hitpoints, 60 Prayer Suggested Killing Method: Melee or Mage Items: Anti Fire Breath potions are a must.
  19. arent there any oyher ways, cuz none of these are fast enough(except from other players of course) oh and davidum-i can sell u some watermelons Sorry, but there is no other way possible to obtain Watermelon seeds.
  20. All those quests, new items, new monsters and many more seem to frustrate players. Mostly the reason is that the requirements are low or way too many can access, kill or equip something. I'm 100% confident, that the average levels and experience per skill or account is changing every day. But in a long run, it's growing faster than we can even think of. Well, we could say Jagex is causing the mass level growth, but does Jagex follow it? If we have updates that people complain about, being for lower levels, then it should mean that, shouldn't it? Although the latest updates in last few months have been for high leveled players. Most of the updates have still been for lower levels and high leveled players have been frustrated and unsatisfied with the updates. Is it false or true, that Jagex isn't followed the mass growth in levels?
  21. Here is, what I do when I am in need of money. I get 100,000gp - 200,000gp from my bank, go to the varrock ranged shop and keep buying bronze arrows. I keep hopping worlds, and until I have enough, I sell them for more money. This is a very good way of making money, and thus I suggest you use it.
  22. There are several ways to obtain this seed: Pickpocketing Master Farmers; Theiving from Stalls; Getting them from Players
  23. Indeed, it depends on if you get the 50 damage points. If you would get them every game then I suppose you could get 200k exp in one day for strenght if you would play the whole day ofcourse.
