Clear margin? "Smashed by a TR"? Lol, 7 people in the fight and you won by 2?
Uhhhh... Grats?

I only use it for IRC now -- since you have to pay for mIRC now.
Safe and secure -- around since 2003ish, so it's got a good rep.

All i recall is Downfall trying to create an excuse, hoping everyone would think that's the sole reason why they lost, when in fact everyone clearly knew TK would have destroyed them with or without these so called multi-clanners
Good boy Pumkin <3:
Who cares that they lost?
If anything, this just shows how much of a loser clan TK was to admit multi-clanners. But of course you w141/w17/whatever newbs [to the clan world] will never understand that, but back in the day clans that did that were degraded to some subordinate status as a 'clan', because it was seen as the worse form of cheating out there. Clans that did it were pretty much shunned by the rest of the clan world.
Downfall just shows how much better they are by not allowing it and by playing fair.. so in my eyes, they are a lot better than TK.

at lvl 75 is where it starts to get good, and 83+ is when it gets best. Also if you want fast slayer xp, dont afk. I can get like 55k slayer xp in about 2 hours, but i dont afk my tasks unless i get a boring one.
Unless you're using a cannon, or red chins or something, 55k slayer xp in 2 hours is impossible.
Even with maxed melee stats, 15k/hour is pretty much the max you can hit.. most likely between 10-15k.

Grats downfall!!! :D

There is no way you can say that Slayer is as boring/repetitive as other skills like mining, fletching, whatever. In combat skills, there's always an element of surprise - i.e. the drops are different every time.. this is unlike any other skill where the results are always the same, so I would disagree with you in saying slayer is boring... But I guess it all depends on the person.

Way to go DW

Congrats!
But I love how you claim that it was a pretty clear cut fight - that it was an easy one for you guys, when in the first three hours, it was clear that Corr was dominating.. You guys just had the determination and kept it going, which gave you the upper hand in the second half of the war and led to your victory.

Welcome! It's nice to see a lower level clan enter the TWR

If money isn't a concern, your best bet is probably bursting rock lobsters in waterbirth. Really fast magic exp and charms.
What's your guess on the level I can hit with 30M worth of bursts?
What level are you now?
I'm not a fan of magic but desperately need to raise it up from lvl 73 (my motivation: magic defence). -

And I see a few other familiar faces... did I read correctly and see the Unbreakables leader post?
I don't remember your name I'm afraid, but I remember the war I fought you in.
What a legendary clan.
Yup, you read correctly. I was co-leader at the time, but Neo Kirby, the founder, is no longer around.. I'm sure his name rings a bell. And I definitely remember you and the TU vs. WG war. Good times.
And did you see Mod Mat K's shout out to you in the Clan Submissions blog? Nice! B)

Thanks for the reply...
For stun, can you only cast it once on an opponent til' they're dead? Seems like something that might be efficient to do in something like castle wars or whatever...
Any other suggestions?
-
Can anybody list them please? Please mention their spellbooks as well (normal, lunar or magicks)..
I don't care about cost. I'm not a fan of magic but desperately need to raise it up from lvl 73 (my motivation: magic defence).
No methods which require 85+ magic please.

What are these "ankous" and "skeleton monkeys"? I can't find either in the tip.it bestiary...
I'll pass on slayer, never really like it. Most of my levels from it came from the first month it was introduced.. maybe got a level or two since.

Okay, I have less than 1M xp until 99 attack (already maxed out strength, defence and constitution), so looking to finish melee up.
Can anyone recommend a monster to train on? It doesn't have to be the best xp, but should be decent, and should have decent drops... just no armoured zombies suggestions!
Thanks.

1) Where's the best place to do this?
2) Approximate hourly xp?
3) How much would it cost to go from 81 ---> 99?
Any advice is appreciated.

I'm surprised that a seemingly respectable clan like Dragonwood would allow someone like Rizzle in.
Edit: Go away Rizzle, this topic has nothing to do with you. Get a life while you're at it.

nice Ak, better luck next time DF <3:
They don't need luck. AK would win.
Do you have nothing better to do than to troll Downfall's topics? Get lost.
Grats AK

GF thread, checked the price on dragon bones, down 8% in the last thirty days. Goes to show the increases were just inflation coupled with the new prayer book, now that inflation has seemed to slow their growth has too.
I said long term... They will go up again... thanks.
Inflation? LoL, you're telling me that inflation is at 100%? I really doubt that the amount of money in RS is doubling every few months. People should really understand what inflation really is and how it's caused before using the term (hearing a little too much of 'inflation this', 'inflation that')
So, if i get a bunch of bones now, and sell them in 5 years. I'll make a huge profit?Okay, I know Jagex is really slow with releasing updates, especially for certain skills, but I have no doubt in my mind that within the next 5 years that prayer will receive a big boost, so no, it's not safe to invest in them long term, but for me personally, I'd be comfortable for merchanting them for a year.. any longer might be iffy.
And my analysis may not turn out true, but technically it's correct. There's lots of other factors to consider, which other people have listed in the topic themselves.. this is just what I believe, and I may very well be wrong, but I believe it's true.
And to the person that suggested that I posted this topic to manipulate with the market -- uhhh, no. I have 400 dragon bones in my bank and I'm collecting them myself to raise my prayer level a bit. I don't merchant.

Don't forget Zeonic Force, we were right there battling with Damage Inc back in the day. I personally helped lead them for about 2 years back in classic.
ZF are still alive? I thought they died in like 2004/05..?
-
99 prayer for sure.
Do not get an ags... waste of money.. godswords are overrated, but if you feel you must have one, go for the bgs.
-
Prayer is simply too valuable a skill to be cheap to train.
Agreed.
And about prayer being static for 9 years. Thats as far from the truth as you can get. :P
Prayer is released.
People bury bones for exp.
Ectofuntus is released.
People move on to that and grind bones/offer them for exp.
Construction is released.
Gilded alters are made.
People move on to offering bones to the alter.
Yeah, it hasnt been changed since construction, but thats hardly 9 years.
And at the core of all those updates are still reliance on bones to level..
Dragon bones will have to fall eventually because once they get too high, people start using substitutes. If dragon bones are 30k each and babydragon bones are 2k each, which are you going to train with? That's an extreme case, but the fact is that as the price difference increases, demand will change, and dragon bones will find an equilibrium with or without an update to prayer. That's never going to happen because the price of dragon and babydragon bones are tied closely together (as they are close to being perfect substitutes, aside from the time element)... and for the reason you just explained.. they will be highly proportional to one another in equilibrium.

Soul wars, but only if you join a cc and get into most games.
Otherwise, from what I've heard, you're better off PC'ing with a clan.
