ill try that, but I can only use 32 colors for the entire piece. You say that as though its not a massive number for pixel art and it has anything to do with contrast.

Thats why i came here XD. If you can pass the worst and harshest critics...nothing stopping j00! Surely thats a typo. The worst I'll give you. C/C here is prety terrible on average. If its not a flame its simply good job lol or even plain old incorrect crits. Harshest? Not when 99% of the people dont know what they're talking about. Any one can pass the critics here, if you're looking for ways to improve at a good rate, you're at the wrong place. If youre looking for wood to stock your ego flames (not neccesarily talking to you Chaos) or for wood to stock the plain old flame flames, then this is the place you're looking for. The only reason I can think of for this being a pixelers nightmare is because people never give consistant critique, and most dont even know how in the first place.

I would have been specific, if I thought that was what you needed. Theres a differerance between simply not understanding anatomy and screwing a few things up. If I thought you had a better understanding of anatomy in general, then I would've pointed out rendering errors, however, I believe your problem is something that I cannot solve but can inform you of so that you can.

Learning proper anatomy will improve your style, I guarantee it.

Cool darks, warm lights. Put down strokes like a painter. Always antialias, dither almost never. Conserve colors.
