    edit:

Head-to-Head leagues must draft no later than March 29th

    Are we a head-to-head league?

    edit2:

    Auto-pick draft? That's lame...

  2. I've never actually done one of these, but I'm a huge baseball fan and know tons about all the teams / statistics. I also know how fantasy sports work. What I don't know is, what is a good amount of people to have?

  3. Sweet, I'm getting GoodWoods! If anyone knows TheEdibleShoe, he is selling them to me for only $80, it would be like $15 shipping but I'm going to his house to pick them up, because my dad doesn't like buying used things when he can't see them beforehand. Good thing he only lives 30 minutes away

  4. In an event that hits the computer world only once every few years, security experts are racing against time to mitigate the impact of a bit of malware which is set to wreak havoc on a hard-coded date. As is often the case, that date is April 1.

Malware creators love to target April Fool's Day with their wares, and the latest worm, called Conficker C, could be one of the most damaging attacks we've seen in years.

Conficker first bubbled up in late 2008 and began making headlines in January as known infections topped 9 million computers. Now in its third variant, Conficker C, the worm has grown incredibly complicated, powerful, and virulent... though no one is quite sure exactly what it will do when D-Day arrives.

Thanks in part to a quarter-million-dollar bounty on the head of the writer of the worm, offered by Microsoft, security researchers are aggressively digging into the worm's code as they attempt to engineer a cure or find the writer before the deadline. What's known so far is that on April 1, all infected computers will come under the control of a master machine located somewhere across the web, at which point anything's possible. Will the zombie machines become denial of service attack pawns, steal personal information, wipe hard drives, or simply manifest more traditional malware pop-ups and extortion-like come-ons designed to sell you phony security software? No one knows.

Conficker is clever in the way it hides its tracks because it uses an enormous number of URLs to communicate with HQ. The first version of Conficker used just 250 addresses each day -- which security researchers and ICANN simply bought and/or disabled -- but Conficker C will up the ante to 50,000 addresses a day when it goes active, a number which simply can't be tracked and disabled by hand.

At this point, you should be extra vigilant about protecting your PC: Patch Windows completely through Windows Update and update your anti-malware software as well. Make sure your antivirus software is actually running too, as Conficker may have disabled it.

Microsoft also offers a free online safety scan here, which should be able to detect all Conficker versions.

  5. A couple weeks ago, I scanned my computer with Norton Antivirus, and it came up with two Trojan alerts, so I pressed the remove button on them, and Norton said it was all done, but couldn't remove the trojans... wtf? I just ignored it since I didn't really care.

Fast forward to like a half hour ago, I'm browsing YouTube while downloading some torrents (that isn't random info, I figured you guys should know what I was doing), and all of a sudden my laptop screen flashes blue (like the BSOD but not as much text) with a bunch of words, and then reboots. It reboots fine and when I log back in it says there was a serious error and asked me to report it. So I did.

It said it was caused by like drivers or something. The only things I had plugged in were a firewire cable leading to nothing (I had my camera plugged in before), and my iPod cable also leading to nothing.

How do I get rid of the trojans manually, because I feel like those caused the problem.

  6. Went to school

Came home, played tennis with my friend at our health club until they kicked us off the courts

    Downloaded GH:Metallica demo

Went to Dunkin Donuts while it was downloading

Came back, played Metallica and RB2

Currently fixing my piece of [cabbage] RB drum set

    SO happy it's Friday

  7. Saidin, for One, I suggest flipping your hand over the neck of the guitar and just flailing. I can get 2x's by doing that and easily pass in the Yellow without SP. You might have to miss like a note or two in the Darkness Riff (whatever it's called) to flip in time, idk.

I'm really close to a Cult and NotB FC too. I hit the NotB solo every time, but I always reverse choke or choke on the outro. For Cult, I just choke everywhere.
