  1. Good character style, there is not much you need to improve on it. Your shark is very 3D, so perhaps work on your background being a bit more 3D as well.

Maybe make your character surprised, or with a simple "?" over his head like "oh, is that a fish trying to get my attention..?"

Definitely work on the water, it needs to be very wavy and splashy since the shark is moving it a lot. Make the sky less empty, add clouds, sun, rain maybe.

I like your grass effect on the stuff on it, add some dark dashes to make it seem less like a rug.

Nice text on the last one.

P.S.: There is much that Serious Cat could learn from Festive Shark.

  2. Looks good, just needs a few improvements:

Remove the black outlines from Luke and the "crater" in the Death Star, currently very distracting.

Darken Luke's back a lot, the light is shining on his front only. A darker back with a cast shadow on th ground is more dramatic and effective.

  3. Nice character style. What I like the best about them is how expressive they are (guy holding hands up to celebrate), that's important when you can only draw one frame of a story.

You should keep some consistency whether to do black outlines or not, as having half the sig in black outlines is a bit odd to see. Add a couple more shadows to your characters to make them less flat.

Practice drawing characters first, then move to practicing backgrounds.

Maybe add simple borders to them :P

I'm sticking to MS Paint, don't suggest any new high level pixeling programs or anything, I won't use them!

MSpaint is all you need. There is no such thing as "high level" pixeling program, just more shortcuts :)

  4. That current sticky is for when people leave Tipit completely, not just General. Putting a sticky for people "leaving" one forum board while still visiting the others sounds very odd. And honestly, most forum people don't care much for people leaving the forum, people come to read actual posts.

My suggestion is to just PM your friends that you're leaving, or leave a message in your signature.

From what I've seen, the percentage of OT people that leave Tipit and don't come back within 3 months is at about 0.5%, there is no need for a second sticky just for OT if people will just come back a month later.

  5. Topic isn't going anywhere, and didn't even have a proper start.

If you want to post a theory, that's fine, but explain it thoroughly so others can understand it and debate it. And yes, expect debate and arguments about your theory, that's the point of opening a thread.

  6. I was playing Morrowind on Xbox until I accidentally killed a ghost without taking its bow. Can't move on with the main quest so just gonna kill everyone on the island now.

You talking about the ancestral ghost up near the Urlishaku Camp in the Cave? Whoops

Yep.. apparently it's a very common mistake, but the ghost looks like every other ghost in other caves, and the room didn't even look like a tomb :? I read online I can still finish the main quest by skipping some steps, but I'll be doing side/guild quests for now to level up and get good gear. Awesome loot from that cave though.

  7. While we do allow pictures revealing information that Jagex is hiding (such as hidden skill icons), gaining information from private servers is against rules so we cannot make any exceptions. We have to be strict or else people will ask how to get those private servers, someone might post fake pictures, or even post a keylogging fake private server.
