I'm ok with posting my mining sig now. :)

I too didn't want to make really good ones for free, so I just did crappy ones for sale. :lol: But really, I suggest making a main one for yourself, that stands out from the rest of the crowd.

I guess I agree with the stuff Jeppoz posted, here is just a general overview of the main ideas: Originality, expression, and technique. One more day Jeppoz... one more day. :)

It's an interesting project but I have just about no time for pencil drawing now. Good luck.

Soy de los estados, pero solo hablo espanol cuando estoy fastidiado. Tampoco utilizo aim or msn porque no tengo tiempo para heso. No se si se puede hablar de otra lengua en estos forums so I'll go back to English. :) D'oh! Yep that's how I went. If you check my first pixel sigs, they had just about no detail or shading. Everyone laughed at me then :lol:

Before you try to go on PC drawing, try RL drawing. Once your hand has mastered RL drawing skills, it will handle the mouse more easily.

It's never too late to start drawing. If you really want to learn how to draw, then work hard on those skills and eventually you will be good. No one is born with art skills, you have to acquire them at the time you choose to; nevertheless, everyone can have exceptional art skills.

You can't learn in 5 minutes what took most people months if not years of artistic skill sharpening to give them their pixel sig making skills. All I can say is try to be original, practice, get ideas from things around you, always check RL whenever you can't draw something, don't copy styles. There is no tutorial, you have to KNOW how to draw from experience.

Deverias comencar a hablar en espanol haci la gente no sabe lo que esta pasando. Yo me recuerdo que una vez hice lo mismo en frances y la gente tento de utilizar una tradusora electronica pero no fuciono rava (rillendo-me a voz alta) :lol: Todavia no encuentro nadie que habla frances, italiano, o portugues en estes forums. Es bueno cambiar de lengua de vez en cuando, ahora tengo que ir a terminar unas firmas para mis clientes. Buena suerte con tu tienda de firmas :)

JK, I haven't started researching the pics on the net yet but you could try google. oh dam lol, i just randomly made some army guys. :shock: :( :cry: :lol: :oops: As long as it looks good and is creative, I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. I haven't been in al kharid since I was a noob so I just drew from memory for my mining sig, lol.

well i might want to make a silver mining sig too, so please dont post yet. Oh ok no prob, I thought everyone was done or didn't want to do it. I closed the shop. I am working on as many sigs as I can, and will PM each person I finish. I'm not taking any more orders until I finish the sigs.

If everyone is done with their mining one, I think it would be cool if we could all show it today? If we are going to do this we should get the approval of all the mining sig contestants first. I approve, lol. I'm 50% on wether I'm going to make a Socom one so please don't show the socom ones until monday.

I have a life besides pixel sig making and to make a good sig it takes planning and drawing. I also have been doing so many pixel sigs I'm trying not to make this one look old or boring. It's really hard to draw something you have drawn over 15 or so.
