Don't you need a few hundred hours of training too? If what you're describing is the totality of their criteria, I find it somewhat alarming.

Most large cities will provide training after they accept you for a position.
Yeah I could have explained more. Assuming I make it through everything, I'll be admitted into the police academy as a trainee where I'll be training for 28 weeks before becoming an actual officer.
  2. I applied to my city's police department to become a police officer. Shouldn't be too hard, just need to pass a couple of fitness tests, a written exam, and some interviews.

  3. Don't get tricked into thinking that you HAVE to move in with her right away and eventually get married and all of that. A baby in the picture doesn't mean that you can suddenly become the picture perfect nuclear family. 2 separated but happy parents is infinitely better than 2 parents that are together but don't want to be.

I think I have some sort of eye infection or shit. My one eyelid has swollen up and is itchy and weird af.

EDIT: Saw a doctor, turns out I have an eyelid infection. Yay me.

    Always use eye condoms kids
Do you just put them on like a contact lens or are they more of a goggle type situation?

No footsteps is the same as constant 3 footsteps, this just make it less confusing for those who aren't keeping up with everything or new players while they fix it.

Also, is it alright to make this thread the general Pokemon thread? I have to talk about the news that was revealed today. Exeggcutor, Vulpix/Ninetales, and Sanshrew/Sandslash got new forms.

Alolan Vulpix/Ninetales is a champion, the rest are just pretty good. I just hope they get better abilities than garbage Snow Cloak. I could see Snow Warning as a hidden ability for Ninetales.

The thing I'm most excited about is the fact that this basically means that we won't have Mega Evolution in this game. That mechanic is so cancerous and gamebreaking.

Snow Cloak is a fine ability. We just need a better Pokemon than Abomasnow and Aurorus that can start hail. I think Snow Warning could go better with Walrein than Alolan Ninetales.

Also I like Megas when they were given to Pokemon that needed the boost, but hated it when it was given to legendaries and pseudo legendaries. I'm also a little salty that Gardevoir, Gallade, and Glalie all got Megas but not Froslass.

  7. Are honey allergies a thing? Because if so that would be my answer. It does not like me too much. Otherwise yes honey everywhere

Peanut Butter is a thing that makes life worth living though

You're probably allergic to the pollen that the bees are using. Try getting honey from a different region.

I've heard that a little bit of honey every day will help alleviate your allergy symptoms though.

  8. This battle system makes me want to vomit. I was training at my team's gym that had a ~700 Beedrill and ~750 Scyther using my 920 Flareon. Easy right? Hell no. It barely made it through the Beedrill and I couldn't touch the Scyther at all.

WHY IS MY FLAREON GETTING DESTROYED BY A BEEDRILL?

  9. Seems pretty dumb to pretend that the wage gap isn't important because women take more time off of work & don't work in higher paying fields. Like...that's the whole problem. Women and men shouldn't be taking different amount of time off, and women should have equal representation in every field

That's more of an issue that the husband and wife have to decide on. Businesses can't force their male employees to take the day off when their child is sick because "your wife did it last time". There's also the issue of pregnancy. Men just can't get pregnant so it makes sense that they're working constantly throughout the pregnancy and after the birth.
