why in the world would you collect the bones
1) I need a little extra cash
2) I don't want/need any more prayer
3) I'm not getting summoning and never plan on it
4) I only bring enough pots so I can kill enough to fill my inventory
I know there are better ways of making money and getting range exp but I like the fact I can afk a lot and still get a half decent amount of each while paying little attention and having a chance of a Visage/Dragon stuff.

I had that many pots left (If not more) when I got my first Firecape.. what's your point. It was on my first try ever as well. Not everyone buckles under "pressure" if you can even call a GAME that.
For my second attempt I will try to do it in under 90 minutes. That's what I am shooting for.. on my SECOND attempt ever. Does that mean that I have people doing if for me to?
Why does everyone think the fight caves are hard? Everyone hypes it up so much only for it to be mediocre in difficulty at best.
8/10. Grats on the getting the cape and on your first try. Not as hard as everyone makes it to be but I guess that's what happens when you can't keep your "cool" under pressure. It's just a game there is no reason to fly off the handle :roll:

Or you could read what I'd said, and realise that, unless he really did get someone else to do the caves for him, I was complimenting him.
Your post is a little confusing, since you can't seem to decide whether or not the caves are difficult. I think you're just attempting to feign modesty. You do have 94 range though, let's not forget that. To be honest, completing the caves in 90 minutes with 94 range doesn't seem too difficult :|
Back when it was discovered that you could multiple fire capes through a "glitch" (for lack of a better word), people would complete the caves in under an hour using full void and rune knives/other expensive ammo. Interesting bit of trivia. :ugeek:
They would die right outside the front of the entrance to the fight caves and get a friend to bless their grave and then they had to get back, get ready and go on to kill Jad in less than a hour before there grave collapsed, allowing them to have 2 (or more) fire capes.

Hmm I guess I'll believe YOU actually got it.
I don't want to be mean or anything but it looks like someone may have done it for you because it shows you just logged in and if you got it yourself why wouldn't you take a picture right after you killed Jad :^o

I used to Range them on my other account before I got banned. There are a few places with some decent safe spots if you would want to check out ranging them.
Sadly I wont be able to help because I don't have 58 Slayer on my new one one so :(

I don't think they will, it's not like people are losing nothing and gaining millions. 25k might not seem like much but just look at how many people do it and it really adds up but I'm not saying it evens out, players have probably gained much more then theve lost but there still losing something.
And I also have no idea how they could really stop it. I think they should just keep letting people do it, people arn't always that lucky.

Because the poster gives half-hearted question that is irritating in its way, so I gives half-hearted answer just for that.
Anyway, I agree with asianboy7o7 on the Abyss crafting, using an Glory Ammy to teleport to Edgeville and bank there and then repeat.

I got 44 RC on my other account before it got banned using fast free airs when the trade restrictions weren't in place.
Tip.it is full of so many stuck up losers I can't even take it. Peace.

Hmm, I did that until lvl 30 then I got up to 32 because of quests.
Didn't seem that fast and I know RC is a slow skill but I guess if that's the best since the trade changed and stuff I'll just have to put up with it.

When jad first spawns, you well not be able to see him, but he well attack you, and you have to rely on sound to know which prayer to use. Without sound you're toast.
Uhh nope.
Say you stand on the north of the italy like most people, and this is what I do.
1) If you get lucky he will spawn to the south of the italy which means you wont have to worry about getting hit off screen.
2) The only spawn I can really think of that would create a problem is if he spawned in the north east. Then you would be relying on luck but if its anywhere else he will most likely have to creep around the italy before he can attack giving you just enough time to see his feet.
But I wouldn't really recommend you go without sounds, not worth the risk IMO.

I got hacked then hacker got me banned...it was total BS.
After a couple months of being pissed off I just had to come back though and I did :|

1) Like other people said...don't even bother killing them, your 99 Def so you should be fine. I got a Fire Cape with 55 Def and they didn't beat me up too bad.
2) If you kill them and he got healed ABOVE half hp, they will come back once you get him back to half. I know this for a fact because I got a 2nd cape last week and it happened to me. :\
All you have to do is attack each once and they will stop healing him and want to attack you. Just make sure only 1 healer is on you (To minimize damage) and turn on Steel Skin and you good to go ^.^
They will NOT heal Jad if there attacking you, or even if there trapped behind him. As long as you have attacked it once to get it's attention they wont heal him anymore.
3) I would have sounds on for atleast the start so you don't get KO'd without even seeing him but it's up to you.

Well the other day I got bored and decided I'd get myself a second cape.
So I was well on my way got to wave 45 or so then for no reason at all...I turned off mage pray with a 360 on me...ROFL, gf, I died.
Well I was really pissed off that because I wasn't paying attention I died but I got some more pots and went back again.
Made sure I didn't make that mistake again lol.
Got to Jad, got him down to half no problem then starting getting the healers off him. I was feeling more confident so this time I lured the ones that were attacking me behind the Italy and killed them off (1 was still trapped behind Jad so I thought I'd be fine)
I got back out start attacking him then like 20 seconds later MORE healers start comming and I'm like ZOMG.
I only had a couple brews left and I'm only 55 Def so I didn't really know what to do, I kept on attacking Jad after I got them on me again and I let 1 of them attack me. I finally used up all my brews and Jad wasn;t dead yet so I decided to lure them behind the Italy again and I killed them...again.
Went back out and finally killed him.

Good point lol, I've done the quest before two but I had the required mining level so I don't know.

Well as you can see I got a lucky spawn and he was on the south of the italy rock.
2(or 3? can't remember) of the healers got stuck behind Jad so i didn't have to worry about them and I had 2 on me so I just turned on Steel Skin and killed them right there (still switching prayers) then once they were dead just finished him off and BAM.

I sold my purple sweets and I don't have enough pots to make a picture but I can tell you.
This is what I had on my second attempt (first attempt was just a test)
400 Purple Sweets
300 Diamond Bolts (e)
1 Range Pot
5 Sara Brews
20 Super Restores
Now I would recommend about 200 purple sweets if your going to use them, it will definately be more than enough. I used less than 200 over the 2 attempts.
I would also recommend buying about 400 Diamond Bolts (e) and use them from wave 31(first 360) to Jad. Use Addys up to that point(bring like 400ish)

You don't hear the range attack until it hits you ;)
But that is probably the easiest way until you get good at using sounds and stuff. Pray mage until you see him stomp and once it hits you, switch back to mage and repeat.
But don't have mage pray on when he spawns, have range for that because if he attacks you and you can't see him you have to rely on sounds and as I said you don't hear range until it hits you so you have to listen for his magic attack until you can see him.
