Good games Caxis. I practiced me shffing and spacing. :mrgreen: Edit: I almost forgot. #-o Ah yes the good days. The days when MK wasn't godly, Chain grabs and infinite grabs didn't exist, and Kent frustrated me to no end with Diddy Kong and his bananas of doom. Good times, good times. 8-) Double edit: Hmm I didn't seem to have any lag at all playing you Caxis. Well I had a few [bleep]es but they were pretty minimal. You probably took the brunt of them from the sounds of things. :?

Do you guys mind a budding MK? :D

I really shutter to think what Mr. Patrelli's powers are going to be. "You won't even be able to move" :ohnoes: His powers must be amazing if Matt's dad is like totally scared of him, and I thought his powers were strong. :shock:

Ohhhhhhhhhh. #-o Yeah I need to practice my short hopping. I can do it when I want to, but I can't do it rapidly more then once. Must practice. =P~

Hmm after reading that entire article I understand. I don't really care if MK is banned. Personally I think he should be. By then I'll probably be on to another character anyways.

Haha why did you tell Crazy!? :o I've only practiced with him today, I'm not nearly good enough with him yet. After the tournament I decided that I was just totally 100% done with Snakes. So I thought, "who is good against snake." I also started to get bored of ROB. That seems to happen with every character I get good with. I become bored of them or they're potential just won't get any better for me. I also have finally noticed that I am horrible at approaching, so I thought to my self, "hmm whos really good at approaching", I bet you can guess who came up. Then I thought, "who has a really high potential?" Meta came up again. Even if I get bored of Meta, which I probably will, I think trying to master him will help me become a better player in general. It should be a while before I get good enough with him. I'm definitely not better then Kent's Mk but I did beat Crazy's... Edit: From the article This is why Let me make a scenario for you to illustrate the biggest problem with MK so far. Lets say I use Mario in tournaments. Mario has a nearly unwinnable matchup against MK (or so I hear), so I need to use a secondary to take care of MK. But who do I pick up? Snake? No, MKs have learned how to beat all but the best Snakes out there. G&W? No, he still doesn't do great against MK. DDD, Falco, ROB? Nope, one of their worst matchups is MK right now. So I have to pick the one and only character that can handle MK: MK himself. Then I begin playing with MK so I can be good enough with him to make him my second... and I start to notice that I'm winning matches much more easily. I realize that no counterpick, be it a stage or a character, is bad for me because I can just switch to MK. I begin to rely on MK more and more whenever I feel pressured, so I start to pick him in the first game too, just to be safe. And that's when I discover that my MK, a character I only recently picked up, is better than my Mario in every possible situation. Soon I just stop playing Mario altogether because it is so much simpler and more effective to just play MK. This is pretty much exactly what was going through my head! :lol:

Anyone wanna play? I'm going to be testing out some characters I'm thinking of getting good with. Oh and I despise playing against TL more then playing any other character. If you want to make me frustrated and annoyed be TL. :roll:

Until I play a extremely amazingly good Meta, I'm gunna say he's overrated. I was talking about Gamestop overall.

For one they give you dirt for your used games and then turn around and mark the price up like 100% so you get ripped off. Play N Trade has like eight 32 in LCD T.V.s also, plus they have a lot more merchandise plus much much more. Gamestop is highly overrated. Just like MK. Edit: Haha that just sounded like an advertisement. #-o :lol:

Eww Gamestop is gross. :shame: Its called Play N Trade. I never heard of it until it opened but its way better then Gamestop. You can go Here to find a store near you and call them to see if they are having one.

I was actually at a game store that opened up about 2 months ago (maybe more) and I saw that they were have a tourney.

Definitely, I mean I almost won against everyone I played and I didn't see anyone that really impressed me. Don't you live like in another state though? :? :lol:

Well I lost :( not much to my surprise. :oops: I won the first battle my opponent won the second one, he was Snake (more reason to despise him, although he wasn't as good as Ken'ts) and counter picked frigate. then I countered with Jungle Japes but he used Marth, I was ROB btw, and I should have won but the stupid fish killed me when I wasn't even in the water, twice. :roll: Call that a "john" if you will. I won the second round. Then the last rounds first battle was just embarasing, he pretty much owned me with Jiggily. #-o I beat him the next battle when he was dorfo and then he beat me with Ness. By that time I had played a total of 3 opponents and had been standing for about 5 hours and just wanted to go home. :lol: :cry: Also call that a "John" if you will. I was surprised to see a lot of Peaches, not many Metas, and a few pikas. I was not surprised to see like 7 Snakes. :roll: :wall: Overall it was fun, being my first ever real life tourney and all (excluding the one when Brawl first came out but that doesn't really count), and I did enjoy my self. Plus there is another one Nov. 6th so I plan on practicing and returning to say. "Death to all who oppose me!" Bet none of you can guess where that line is from
