  1. I believe the article was justified and not legally actionable. Tipit had the opportunity to stand its ground, and it didn't. That's okay, really. Either identity is valid--the serious stand-alone voice for and of fans and players, or the unofficial companion site. Tipit chose to act, in my opinion, like a broken-spirited child whincing at its father's raised hand. It's a great source of information and tremendous aid to anyone who enjoys the game. It's obviously just not the place to go for a serious discussion (if there's any chance it might offend anyone associated with mighty jagex). Having said that, I'll still have tipit in my second and third browser windows every time I play! :D BTW--on a completely unrelated subject--Did you know it's possible to view a recently removed page by googling the title (or a key phrase such as the title of an article) and then clicking on "cache"? Then, if you thought the article or page was worthy of saving, you could keep it for your own personal reference and enjoyment! Uh-oh! Google better get rid of that cache, before they get sued! I wonder if the page was ever viewable from China. And plus also, I think the only reasonable solution for inappropriate names in the game is for jagex to allow users to change account names either in extreme cases only, or for a premium--the way players are allowed to change the appearance and even the gender of their characters in-game. There could be a census official with forms to be filled out in triplicate and delivered to far-flung beaurocrats! Hooray!
