  1. That'd be pretty hard to do, unless it was 2d. I don't feel like messing with this anymore tbh.. been working on this tut for 3 hours.
  2. First create a new document 200x200 pixels. Color the blackground black (set the foreground color to black and hit Alt+Delete). Create a new layer now. (AND NAME IT "Lines 1") Now reset your brushes, and select a 3px hard round brush (the first set of brushes, 3px). Set the foreground color to 717171, and brush down the middle (holding shift while brushing to keep the line straight). You should now have something simular to this: Duplicate the layer you just brushed the line on. (NAME THIS DUPLICATED LAYER "Lines 2") And go to Filter>Distort>Shear, and use these settings: Now select "Lines 1" (The layer) And go to filter>Distort>Shear, and use these settings: Now right click on "Lines 1" (The layer) and select "Blending Options" and use these settings: Do the EXACT same for "Lines 2". (You know what I mean by now... =P) Ok, now it gets a bit complicated. First duplicate the "Lines 1" and drag it to the top of the layer list. Now duplicate "Lines 2" and leave it where it's at. Now drag "Lines 1" to the top. Now our layers are in the right place and everything should display right, here is what you should have in your layers panel. Now, select "Lines 1 Copy" then hold Ctrl on the keyboard and select "Lines 2 Copy". You can let go of Ctrl now.. =P Now select the Marquee tool. Now put your mouse in the middle of the image. Hold Ctrl and move your mouse to the left until you get something like this: Tip: If your layer locks itself to a part of the image, try zooming in, then moving the layers until you can get the second lines right beside the first lines. (Lines 1, and Lines 2) It's optional, but I think it looks good if you add a drop shadow to Lines 1 Copy, and Lines 1. Almost done! Now all we need to do is add the barbs. Make a new layer and name it "Barbs 1". Select your brush tool and select a 7 px soft round brush (the second set of brushes are soft round). Draw a line across the middle of the image, a little less wide than the line below. (Mine is a bit too wide) Now right click on the "Barbs 1" Layer and select "Blending Options" check bevel and emboss and use these settings. Make a new layer, name it "Barbs 2". Draw a line above your first one like so: Now right click on that layer, select blending options, and use the exact same settings as last time. Make another layer, name it "Barbs 3", draw a line at the bottom like so: Now right click on that layer, select blending options, and use the same settings as last time. You should now have something simular to this: Select the "Barbs 3" Layer, now select the Polygonal Lasso Tool (Right under the Marquee tool, right click and you'll see it.) Zoom in, and make a selection with it like this: Now hit the Delete key. Select the layer "Barbs 2" and make a selection with the pollygonal lasso tool like so: Now to make it look more.. barbwire-ish xD we will do this: Make a new layer (Name it "Full Image"), drag it to the top of the layer list. ~!NOW THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!~ GO TO THE BOTTOM LAYER (Layer 1) AND CLICK THE EYE TO THE LEFT OF THE NAME. This will make the layer invisible. I won't go into detail why this is important. But if you know alot about Photoshop you'll know why. Anyway. Select the top layer ("Full Image") and go to Image>Apply Image>Then click OK on the window. Now go to the Layer name "Layer 1". And turn the eye on again. Then turn the eye off for EVERY layer except the "Layer 1" of course =P, and the "Full Image" Layer. Anyway, re-select the "Full Image" Layer and go to Filter>Noise>Add Noise, and use these settings: Now you're done! You can rotate the image by going to Edit>Transform>Rotate 90* CW Now you can add blood to make a cool effect. You can also add barbs to the end of each wire joining. Here is my result after adding blood, and a bit of lighting effects: ---- Sorry this tutorial was so complicated, but it's the best I could explain it because barbed wires are pretty complicated to make, and even more to explain.

I didn't rip, I've never seen that site. I made this image based off what I had seen before. (I saw this pop up as a 100x100 avatar once before, I don't remember where) The hammer I used I pixeled myself. The hammer used for that generation image is much lighter than mine, and the pixels are different. (I zoomed in on both images side by side, they're different.) Don't accuse people of ripping unless you have proof. Posting a site with a simular "concept" to my image is not proof of me ripping. If anything, it's unoriginal ;) And btw, congrats on your 10th rip bust, who was it again? ;P

Ripping? I have the psd to back up I didn't rip. =/ Yes a PSD, I had to add a custom button, uncloseable X, a pixel hammer. And a few other things. Why would I rip something so simple?
  5. It can be alot of things, the stock you used (although, doubtful). The type of file that you saved it as. Or the quality you used. I'd have to see one of your PSDs to figure out how to fix it. But maybe adding a blur layer would help. And if it's too blurry then add a sharpen layer. (No, this will not get you back where you started, it will smoothen the sig)

Whoa cad, the one time you rate one of my images (lately) You have something bad to say. =/

Here is the PSD Say something : ;P
  8. Balance of mind? Alright guthix.. =P If you was a super good designer I'd understand that statement. Anyway, the banner is alright. But too hectic. The gradients are.. odd, just looks like a really small sig :P The coding is messed up aswell.. big time. Try to make it more clean and proffesional looking.
  9. They're all good, but grainy. Try to fix that, it makes the sig look alot worse.

    C/C Appreciated.
  13. Use your imagination.
  14. First you want to make a new document in photoshop. (Ctrl+N) We'll make this one 350x125 but you can experiment different sizes if you want. Step 2: Well my favorite color is blue, so I'll be making a blue-based sig. You can use whatever color you want, just adjust the settings in the screenshot below: Step 3: Next we want to make the gradient bg, so select the gradient tool (shown in the picture above). Click (and hold) the mouse going from top to bottom across the sig. You should now have a gradient background. Step 4: Now we are going to make a new layer (Shift+Ctrl+N) and add some brushing. But first we'll need brushes. The ones I'll use for this tutorial can be downloaded here. But you can look around for ones you like. .com/yadvgt]Click here for a detailed tutorial on how to use brushes you've downloaded. Anyway, first press D then X on your keyboard, this will reset the colors. Now just randomly brush around (Don't drag the brushes, click once.) After a while you should have something like this: Step 5: Now we are going to make the sig look even better. Go to the layers panel. And do this: Now it blends better, doesn't it? Step 6: Now we are going to make it look even better by adding simple effects and adding a border. First hit Ctrl+Shift+N to make a new layer. Then select the Elliptical Marquee Tool: Now make a selection on the top of the sig like so: Right click inside the selection and select "Fill..." And use these settings: Now deselect. (Click anywhere on the sig) Step 7: Now we are going to add a border, text, and some optional finishing effects. Hit Ctrl+Shift+N (Again, this will make a new layer) Then hit D. Now use the Rectangular Marquee tool (see step 6 to find where it is) and select the entire sig. Now right click and select "Stroke" And use these options: Now go to Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Brightness/Contrast... And make the brightness +20, and the contrast -20. Now all you need to do is add text. Download a font and add it to your font directory, I won't explain how to do this, so find a tutorial on google on how to add fonts to your computer if you don't know. Once you have a font use the text tool and add any text you want. Final Result! Now we're done. Hopefully you've added some more effects of your own, maybe stars etc. And some text. Here is my end result with added text, and some extra brushing. NOTE: This is a beginner tutorial, for someone who is making one of their first sigs mainly. I've tried to explain everything clearly in this tutorial so ANYONE can make this kind of sig. ------- Please post your results! :)
  15. This tutorial is for Photoshop 7+ 1. Create a new document, make it 300x300 2. Reset your brushes and chose the 5 pixel hard round brush. (Make sure the color is on black) Hold shift and draw a line down figure 1 3. Right click on that layer. Select blending options and use these settings figure 2 figure 3 figure 4 4. Now to rasterize this layer.. to do this, right click and select "group into smart object" then right click again and select "rasterize layer" 5. Go to filter>distort>shear and use these settings to get a wavy effect figure 5 6. Now go to image>rotate>90* CW And you have a metallic wire :P

  23. To 80% of rs it does. I've always said to myself, 80% of people would scam you if they knew for a fact they could get away with it. I'm pretty sure I'm close.. Sorry about your loss.
