  1. I thought of this myself.. Not sure what they'll do.
  2. 1. No 2. Yes 3. No 4. No - But I would if I got a chance. If they're willing to pay that ammount, it's on them.
  3. 1. A bank 2. Woodcutting Areas 3. Fishing Areas 4. Mining Areas These would all help improve houses in my opinion.
  4. I use a guide always.. I'm only interested in the award, and doing something unique. But using a guide doesn't make the quest any less fun.. to me anyway.

Yeah, no planets in terragen. Just landscapes, water, and clouds.
  6. Metroid replied to Metroid's topic in Art and Media
It was, but I still tried to be original.. and make it even better. ;) The planet was started from a simple circle in photoshop.. :) It can't be ripped aswell.. anyone can add a name to it, but there is still a hidden copyright, which I won't say where.. because then it's not hidden anymore. =P So if anyone rips this I'll just pull up the copyright, I couldn't get my name to look good in the sig. The lines (spirits) might of been a mistake, but it seemed empty without them. And turning down the opacity just looked weird. Check out my sig archive then. :) It should have most of my sigs posted.

No. :P He of course is the only thing I didn't make. The water and landscape are rendered with terragen, but still it takes a good bit of skill to make it render things like this. They are both enhanced with photoshop. And btw, do you know how hard it is to combine renders? And make everything flow/blend? It's nearly, if not impossible. This sig is not all renders.
  8. Uhhh.. whoa. That's all I can say. #-o
  9. Select the gradient tool, make the left side black, then make the gradient fade to white (make the right side white). Add a layer mask to your text layer, then use the gradient tool going from bottom to top across the text. It should be gradiented. :P

Just added a glaciated version, I think it looks a bit better. I'd like to hear other opinions. :)
  11. Here you go: Better quality, but darker: Not sure why it's such a large file size.. The quality looks lowered as it is.
  12. From a glance yes, but proportionally it's pretty good. I agree, but to fix this he could make the shoulders a little less wide. But it's not needed, as it's not a big problem.
  13. Are these your first abstract sigs Or your first sigs completely? And what program did you use. If it's your first these are great. But if you've been using your program for a while, not so great. - Text/Font - Needs work, and lose the stroke on it. - Depth - The sigs look flat, try adding depth. Add more brushing in the bg, that is barely noticable. - Hecticism - Everything is crazy on all of them but the last one. Try to make it less hectic. (Making it less hectic would help improve your depth alot) Work on this and you'll get even better. :)
  14. The Pixel Sig: The wall could use more blending, And the floor looks too flat. (It's hard to tell it's the floor) The hands look wierd, It looks like there is no fingers. The glass box with the phat is good, but the phat is floating on air. :-s It's also not directly in the middle of the rope fence. Everything else looks excelent. Keep it up. It has a evil-torchure-throne-room look. :P So far I'd say 9/10 And I won't rate the noob sig.. I mean sig. :P
  15. Metroid replied to Metroid's topic in Art and Media
    Thanks.
  16. The Ice Barrage one is my favorite. But they are all pretty simple. And btw. The title is off. Mindswell say "Animated Animations", because only gifs can be animated. :P

I think this is the best sig I've ever made... Glaciated Version: Everything is made by me.. Aside from tidus. Water + Landscape/Mountains Rendered by me, using Terragen. Everything else made in photoshop. C/C Appreciated.
  18. Then let me re-phrase it. Back to abstract sigs, and using 100% photoshop. :P And also. If I was as good as he is with pixeling, but instead with abstract. Don't you think I could make that look bad? Think about it..
  19. Thanks. But back to sigs that look real. I only wanted to see if I could pull off a decent pixel sig on my first try. Well.. I guess it's decent. =S I am currently working on a final fantasy sig, hope to get a rate from you.
  20. more random? Less generated? :P
  21. Paint/Photoshop EVERYTHING is pixeled. I used photoshop to add a bit of blur, and make it blend a bit more.
  22. Blurry yes, I did that to make it look real. Apparently that was not a good idea. I know my perspective was off alot. I could really use some help in that area. (with actual graphics aswell) Thanks alot for the tip. And the image, I might start back and make this sig better some time.
  23. Metroid replied to COKE's topic in Art and Media
Watch who you talk to.. He is one of the best designers here. (Aside from me, of course) :P
  24. Metroid replied to COKE's topic in Art and Media
Thought you were referring to your image. Maybe a bit. But still. You get what I'm saying, right?
  25. Metroid replied to COKE's topic in Art and Media
But you said being hectic is what brushing is all about. So If my sig isn't hectic but I did use brushes. Then my sig is not cool. :P So being hectic is not what it's all about. It just ruins images 90% of the time. When it doesn't ruin images you must be a pretty good designer. Just trying to help.. although I look like a jerk. :P
