  1. I drink Redbull and drinks like that. Better than any powder, guaranteed. A full can of Redbull gives me so much energy.

Yeah don't we all love heart attacks in a can. Anyways i always use 'grapesugar' i don't know if that's the english name for it.. Here's a picture:

It doesn't get you all hyper and full of energy, but it does help. You should try changing your eating habbits as well, mind telling us what you eat?

  2. Go to the gym, try EVERY machine on low weight, let your tendons get used to them and then decide which machine you'll use in your routine. Always start off with 10-20 minutes of cardio to get your body loose and your heart rate up.

Machines suck. Don't use them. Waste of flippin' time. You'll get more out of a push up than any machine out there. Free weights are the best.

Eh.. Machines aren't that bad. Free weights are better in my eyes aswell, but i like to combine. I do both because free weights just feel like an everyday slump to me after a while. Machines are affective aswell and certainly NOT a waste of 'flippin' time.

  3. I can't take this thread serious when the majority of users here are still in high school, no offense to anyone but unless you are older then like 25 you are still considered the "youth".

What i was thinking, most people here are 16-17-18 ;\.

Do this. Take it easy the first week, your musscles will be sore eitherway. But after a while your musscles will get used to the routine. Go 3-4 times in a week and start doing like 5x 12 exercises on a machine (i do this but add more weight every round). Lose the fast-food and the sugary drinks. Eat brown bread, red meat, chicken breast, fish (tuna & salmon recommended), fruit and rice + pastas, water and milk for drinks. Devide those into 6 meals. (For example eat a slice of brown bread with salmon at 8, a slice of brown bread with tuna at 10 and so on.)

  5. Depends on the type of pullup you are refering too..

The palms in pullup is just a different form of a curl and in all intents and purposes is about as easy as it gets as long as you arent a fatass. In most communities.. The palms facing you pull up isn't even considered a pullup, and you get made fun of for even doing them at the gym..

    As for the other pullup..

Palms out. Arms spread past shoulder width. Thats a mans exercise.. And I suspect that 99% of the forums could not complete 5 reps to save their life.

But if I had to give numbers.. Without swinging, with perfect form and full arm extension I could pop out 20 easily if we are speaking of palm in. Palm out, I'll get 12 on a good day.

True dat. Wide grip is so much harder.

Question: what's a great way to neutralize swinging? Crossing the legs? Or just forcing yourself to go up and down?

Crossing the legs and not going too fast seems to work for me.

I can probably do around 10 of the "palms in" ones, as for the legitimate ones with the hands far apart I think I could probably do 2.

Yeah, legs crossed but everyone at the gym here does it fast. Watch out for the rookies though, my friend was doing it fast and his legs were swinging around, he nearly kicked me a black eye.

  6. Just tried it for the first time in ages, think the first time i've ever done it propperly, got to 3 before my hands got extremely sweaty so i had to let go ;\. Think i would be able to get 5.

  7. My mother has CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome) & fibromyalgia ;\. Other then that my brother had a disorder with his pancreas and some kidney issues. Not really a disease, but the doctors found out i had 2 appendixes when they were removing my 'original' one, so they took the other one out aswell -.-.

  8. Some people just adore junkfood eh :ohnoes:.

Anyway i just had some grilled tuna with wild mushrooms & wild rice.

    Easy, healthy and tasty .
