A lot of people still don't know it's been announced due to it being somewhat secretly announced. Hopefully you'll be in luck when they post a dedicated newsfeed about it :D Yeah it's funny how they managed to mess up even that too but yeah it's Jagex we are talking about, anything is possible.

Yeah doesn't really make sense that you get the outfit from pp but no bonus exp. "the xp from these things are high enough, a boost isn't really necessary" 10% boost is necessary then? Gotta love Jagex logic <3

Yeah I will probably get 200M Prayer/Construction/Herblore once I can afford them. I won't be probably breaking any records, those skills have already very good records. I sleep too much to break any records and I am not planning to sleep less, I love sleeping too much to do that =P I have about 7B in herbs/potions at the moment, that 7B is market price. Very hard to estimate how much they will raise. I know everyone is unique and special, I didn't mean it like that. I meant that just because I have spent so much time playing rs it doesn't make me a better person than someone who has just started playing rs or someone who has never even heard about rs =P Thanks a lot for the kind words :)

I don't have major money problems at the moment but still need at least 5B, maybe even more. People have been investing billions in herbs/potions because of Bonus XP Weekend so I won't be probably making as much as I thought. I understand if some people get annoyed because I am accepting donations but no need to start rumours like "he probably has more than enough for 200M all skills and still asking for more donations". If that was really true I would have got 200M buyables already, they only take few weeks anyways. I don't even really ask for donations anymore, most people know that I am accepting donations already and I know how annoying it can be when someone is asking you for money. People ask me for money/items all the time and it's gets a bit annoying sometimes I got to admit. About hypocrisy, world is full of people like that. I don't understand why people have the need to make others look bad. I remember that Kngkyle was flaming me because of donations when free trade was going to be released soon and saying how everyone should work for their money. Later he got 14B donation from his friend, talk about hypocrisy. I don't even know him though and they were probably very good friends so not going to judge anyone or anything. It was nice that Kngkyle finally posted on this thread and I don't want to start any arguments but I felt like I needed to mention this because people were talking about Drumgun being hypocrite, maybe he just changed his opinion. I won't blame him, so many people making billions staking/dicing or even RWTing. I am not perfect person either, I change my opinions a lot too. I don't want to start 10000th donation argument but some people have like 200B+ and still scamming people for more money, I wish I had even 10% of that but I am not going to scam anyone or anything like that. It's not worth it, it's just pixels anyways. Also I have been playing RuneScape for almost 10 years now and been working on my 200M all skills goal for years, over 20K hours played. I didn't just suddenly get all my donations without doing anything, there is saying that nothing in life is free and I think it's pretty much true. Of course you can disagree about that. Sorry about a bit negative post. People have helped me so much on my goal and I am really grateful for that, I don't really have any reason to complain but I felt like I needed say these things. I don't really like to tallk about my bank worth because I am very paranoid about getting hacked or something. Also it's very hard to estimate, I have all my money in herbs/potions at the moment and I am not sure how much they going to raise. And about cannon giving Hp Xp, I am a bit embarrased that I didn't know haha =P But I don't know much about RuneScape anyways, I just play to have fun. I don't really like to be called #1 rs player because I am pretty much just like everyone else, I have just spent more time playing rs which isn't anything special.

Yeah I was cutting dragonstones. I think rest of the Hitpoints Xp is from cannon and steel titan. Interesting gains, thanks :)

Was just cutting some gems and selling them and bought more potions/herbs because Bonus XP Weekend should be announced soon. Might make some Extreme potions too for Overloads. My Slayer/overall Xp gains will drop a bit because I started storing effigies so I can use them with the Refer A Friend 10% bonus. Thanks for the weekly update as always langer!

Yeah well here it is then =P I warned you though and gonna hide it because it's kinda off-topic too. It's not really anything new, many people have said these things already. Also there are some Jagex mods which are doing awesome job so won't blame them, they are just working for the company. [hide]I still respect this game a lot and rules. I lost my respect for Jagex long time ago though, like someone said you can't trust Jagex anymore and they seem to do anything just to get more money even if it wouldn't be good money long-term, maybe good money short-term if even that. Jagex doesn't show any respect for players either. They hide things from us, lie to us and just trying to get as much money as possible out of us. So no wonder that players don't respect Jagex much either. I don't want this thread to turn into some rant about Jagex and I really hate to complain but just wanted to say the reasoning behind my opinions. And when I talk about Jagex, I don't talk about the game. I still enjoy and love rs a lot. Just wanted to explain this because some people asked me why I even play anymore if I don't respect Jagex. It's so sad to see what they doing to this game I love so much. But then again I am not going to get depressed over it, people have done a lot more worse thing for money. It' just how the world is and I doubt it's going to change anytime soon. About rsc and old rs2, I was very young then when I started rs like 9 years ago. I think I was 12 or something, everything was so new and exciting. But it wasn't just that, rs was so different back then. Of course there was bots back then too, I remember in rsc I used to close the door leading to Mining Guild and the bots got stuck. It wasn't anywhere as bad as it is now and it seemed like Jagex cared, they announced many mass bans and you could really tell the bots were gone. At least for a while. There will always be bots. Now they resetting bots and even got this refer a bot program so obviously things are worse now. At first back in rsc I think they had p2p just so they could be able to maintain the game, unlike now. I can't remember very clearly so far back but I really felt like Jagex was more close to players than now. Even spotted Paul and Andrew sometimes hanging with players and having fun. Really felt like rs was in good hands, Paul and Andrew had lots of love for the game. Of course you still see Jagex mods sometimes in-game but it's not the same. I heard Andrew sold rs and I am not sure what's his position in Jagex anymore but of course the new owners will never have the same love for this game as the creators had. Oh and before G.E I mostly used forums to trade with players, never saw any trolls there and people cared more about each other. Rs community was so different back then too and closer to each other, I really miss those times. Now it feels like Jagex is trying to force the community together with all these updates like Dungeoneering and Clan citadels. Of course there were people scamming/hacking back then too but it wasn't anything near the current situation. I get PMs all the time from spam bots and phishing links, never had that problem back in rsc or in early rs2. I don't feel very secure about my account at the moment and Jagex managed to mess up recovery system too, they don't care even about our security anymore. I see people getting scammed/hacked all the time. Someone said that you remember just what you want to remember, it's not that. Rs was really different and better game before, at least that's how I feel. You are free to disargee. Someone said that they feel sorry for player who have spend so much time on this game, don't feel sorry for me. No matter how much they devalue my achivements or even ban my account or shut down rs. It won't change the fact that I had fun and really enjoyed my time. Met so many great people too and found so many awesome friends. And like I said before, Jagex can never take away my good memories, no matter how they change this game. When I started my 200M all skills goal, I knew skills would get faster and my achivements would get devalued. And after updates like effigies and climbing boots it was pretty clear that Jagex was getting greedier and I didn't understand Jagex anymore. So many other games have been ruined because of money too, this wasn't the first time and probably not the last time. And like I said before, so many other things have been ruined because of money so can't say I am surprised that rs turned out like this. It's really a shame though, when I first started rs it felt like different game from others and wasn't so centered around money, I guess that's what made me "fell love" with rs in the first place. I was f2p for first about 3 years after all and maybe would have never tried it if it wasn't free to play. When I first time joined p2p I was happy to pay the membership, not so happy anymore. But I still enjoy rs, so please don't tell me to quit or something, I will quit rs if I stop enjoying it. No need to worry about that. I would have probably been willing to pay even more for membership and I am pretty sure many others too if Jagex wouldn't have done all these updates like free trade, refer a bot, bonus xp etc etc. But they never even asked our opinion, I think free trade vote was just marketing plot too and they would have done it anyways. It's funny how they said that they got this "new techology" and nobody would be able to bot anymore... it was just another lie. If Jagex was more open and honest with players maybe I would respect them more but that's probably not gonna happen. Sorry about very long post and so much complaining. Might be hard to understand what I mean sometimes, my English isnt very good sorry. And remember that I still enjoy RuneScape a lot and there are still many good things left in rs. I am not quitting or anything like that. tl;dr I miss how RuneScape used to be and the good old days but life goes on.[/hide]

Haha no thanks, thanks for the support though =P It's not all about me and that's good, would get boring and RuneScape is full of interesting people :) Nice to see posts from so many different people and lots of different opinions. I know you were joking though. I wrote really long "rant" about Jagex and was about to post it but then realised it wouldn't help anything.

actually someone posted a skype convo with him and he said that jagex sucks, fails, and needs a new marketing team. He has a lot more class than to openly say that on public forums though. Oh ok then, I was kinda joking though. I am sure he wasn't happy about the update and I am glad he had class =P Don't want to see him lose pmod like Jiblix did just because of stating his opinion. Couldn't agree with him more. People have PMed me like 1k times asking how I feel about this refer a friend update and mostly just answered "Jagex fails" because I am tired of explaining how disappointed I am in Jagex and been like that for years. I know complaining about it won't make it better anyways. And don't get me wrong, I still love this game a lot and enjoy it a lot but it's really sad to see updates like this. Oh well... at least I still have my memories about rs when it was better, Jagex can never take those away. I am kinda glad I never got player mod, would have probably lost it many times already and would have been useless for me anyways.

I read the FAQ about it and it said you can choose when you activate the Bonus Xp. Also here is a picture from rs homepage where they explain the refer a friend programme: So it looks like you can choose when you activate it =P

Haha well I go to bathroom when needed, I was joking a bit about all that exp waste =P I actually even log out when I go to bathroom lol =P I could afk of course but I take rules very seriously and I am online so much anyways so good to take break sometimes. I used to joke that I take laptop with me to the bathroom but that wasn't really true =P I haven't been sick at all in the last 4 years so I don't know if I would play if I am sick, probably not. Lol I actually think that the only way to beat zezima in runescape e-fame could be with 200m in all skills, but even then it wouldn't be 100% sure. And they should really make a statue for zezima in runescape, a huge one. yeah, to sum up: zezima is the boss of unersacep. There is no way to beat Zezima and I don't even want to, he is and will always be the real number 1. It wasn't getting to me or anything, was just surprised about Drumgun's opinion towards 200M skills.
