Well im on the part where i have to fight the mage. Even with the same weight when i was doing the first fight, i succeded. So what's the deal?

Ok so i did up al the way to the part where i stuffed the holy symbol in the sarcophagus, but then i accadently went back to the church where the priests were. Realising my mistake i went back through the pyramid to the pit, but now when i jump, even with 30% energy, i fail. How come this happens and how do i overcome this porblem? :wall: . i have so far did it 3-5 times and i keep failing :wall:
