  1. What shop price would be used, specialty stores or general stores? There's a pretty big difference. And using street price for things like whips (if anyone actually donated one) would keep the game out of whack. The whip would cease to be a status symbol and the price would continually fluctuate. Specialty would make the most sense I think, as people could have gotten the equivilant amount of money from high-alching. I don't really think that using the street price for items with high-street value but low shop value would really cause many problems, due to the scarcity of which they would be donated. I can't see how their position in the charity hall would affect anything else economically. What if someone decided to put a phat in? They sell for like 2gp, and alching is 1gp, so any odd noob could suddenly have a phat! That's kinda the point, the price limitation I outlined were mainly oriented to prevent people from making accounts just to do the charity hall. A noob deserves to get a free phat as much as anyone
  2. I'd be for giving F2P a little more bankspace, and maybe a few new quests, but more than that, you have to pay to deserve.

  4. I have a suggestion for the charity hall, maybe it's been suggested, but i really don't want to read that many pages. It should be something like the Tears of Guthix, where it can only be accessed once every and there'd be different levels of charity you can receive. A brand new account would only be able to get items with a store price of 100gp or less, an account that was a week old could get things worth 1k or less, a month old account could get anything less than 10k, which covers most of what would be put into charity probably, and then 6 months would be 100k or less, and a year would unlock everything. Rares, whips, etc. would be categorized by an estimation of their street price. Also, the time between when you got something from charity, and then could get another could be lowered by donating things, however, cost would play into it, donating something that is basically worthless (think cabbage) would only take a minute off, or something along those lines.
  5. i've kind of heard varying report on this whole thing from both here, official forums, and rs itself. The two main things i've heard are that either duriel was going rampant killing people, or that everyone could kill everyone. I personally believe the full on wildy edition, because i heard that from an extremely reputable source, but in the vid i saw, the recording character had no attack option. another friend tells me that his friend is claiming responsibility for it, but that's a bunch of bull. I personally think jagex should have forced a fake server update, it would have taken the server offline while still giving those who are in combat with npc's a chance to tele or run, givin. but oh well, maybe they couldn't. another option would have been to have the j-mods bump their levels up to 200 or something and take out pkers.
