  1. I've never had really strict parents either. My dad is great and he understands that I can think things through and not make irrational decisions. I have never done anything that would really destroy this trust and I generally improve upon my faults over time. Even though they are not strict, and let me choose when to sleep and such, they still treat me like a child in other ways. An example is giving me an affectionate nickname which really ticks me off  , but recently they haven't used it much.

  2. I need Stomach Upset, Nothing Special, Untouchables, and Safety First.

You two up for it this weekend?

Yeah I need quite a lot but most of them are quick. I already did the untouchables achievement using a cool trick I'll show you guys, but nothing special is quite difficult and safety first we would just have to be really careful.

  3. I need to add some people who know what they're doing and are willing to help me/each other with achievements. If anyone wants to properly play the game and not betray their teammates/do nothing, then send me a pm or post here.

    On Xbox 360 btw.

  4. I heard that if everyone stands arms width from each other, the whole world could fit in the area the size of a large city. Physical space is not the problem AT ALL. I really hope we just learn to use the power of nature for our energy systems. So much energy is released on the earth and the sun and it's going to waste. Food is not going to be a huge problem either as long as there are developments in farming and a reduced amount of food available in already developed countries. I don't see space colonies coming for a very, very long time. I really don't understand why people would want to live on a desolate planet unless it is terraformed or something. You will always be in danger living on those celestial bodies because of the lack of an atmosphere and extreme temperatures. [sarcasm]Instead we should create underwater cities like Rapture from BioShock with no limits on scientific testing and no morals[/sarcasm]Technological developments always happen at a lightning fast rate when human lives and maybe even the scientists' own life is at stake. It's evolution. Ever seen The Day the Earth Stood Still?

Nah, screw it, [bleep] it, let's nuke the world :P

  5. Maybe some of the smartest like monkeys, orangutans, gorillas and the like can understand and memorize some things, but not even close to the level of humans. Our intelligence is unparalleled by any living being found on this planet.

I have to call your opinion biased.

"Were white so we are unparalleled by any other skin color."

How does skin color have anything to do with what I said? Are you just trying to start arguments with your ignorance?

I am not a troll if anyone believes so, I am stating my opinion as everybody else is going to do :wall:

It is just that your assuming animals are not close at all to humans as other racist people do with other races.

Sorry its late where I live.

Because they aren't depending on the way you define intelligence.... :wall:

Other animals just don't have even close to our type of intelligence basically

There is no big difference between the human population, there is very little genetic variability in humans compared to a lot of other animals, so there is really no such thing as 'races' that are very different, just slightly different features.

"Sorry it's late where I live"

Typical excuse for bs, I've seen this a bunch of times

Besides, you don't know what race I am, so don't judge

Don't use your ridiculous logic to compare me to a racist

Sorry man I should have never said I was smarter than an amoeba, I'm a specist

  8. I  at you noobs that criticize him for not doing it the old way. The old way(s) are actually much faster and more efficient in the long run, but it seems sunny just did this for fun. I would never really do this as I don't want to miss out on my slayer exp but kudos to him for achieving a unique goal. =D> By the way, what was your bonus on exp in SW if you exchange in more points?

  9. [hide=]

Well its subjective what you mean by "nerdy.."

This is one of those.. I can do all this cool stuff so I am cool posts. ::'

If being intelligent (I have an iq over 160 *Brag rights*)

    Lies.

I do think that high ranking players are quite geeky. Nerds are, by the definition I have learned, people who are quite intelligent, don't have too many friends if any, and are isolated (in study). Geeks are people who are enthusiastic about a subject and have quite a lot of knowledge, ability, or skill in that area. Examples include a computer geek or a band geek. I'm quite geeky about finding out the best ways to level in RuneScape, but I waste a lot of time and could have a significantly higher total level if I hadn't used a lot of time just browsing the internet or just playing minigames on RuneScape.

Now whether they have some real life acquisitions such as a good job/career/degree/education and good social relations depends on their efficiency, the time they have played (when they started RuneScape), and their time used on things other than skills in RuneScape. It really just depends and there are quite a lot of people who do an overwhelming job with keeping balance in their life while excelling.

Uha.. Donno what your calling me a liar about but thats a good opinion which I somewhat agree with.

Briefly: Imo geeks are people who are intelligent but are generally liked and socialable. Nerds are people who are intelligent but mean and less liked. Again thats all down to opinion. The same way the word 'noob' is. Being a geek or a nerd is linked to any particular subject you want. Its also a immature saying imo but I dont mind it either. I accept people like to chuck it about and take it as a compliment most times depending who said it and what context.

Tbh I dont act smart and love to live life myself so although im a geek I am also reasonably 'normal' too in a abnormal way. If that makes any sense lol.

    -

    Chucking something else out there.

I dont mention it often but some high ranking (Aswell as lower) players must have OCD too which helps out alot in this game. (While levelling to keep fast xp rates etc.) If you have control over that condition you can play safely without it consuming you. So im not saying they are compulsive players. I said 'some' as there are undoubtedly people who are just very passionate about the game. Me included.

Thats one mental condition/gift of many that can actively aid players keep efficiency aswell as intelligence which often comes with such conditions/mind.

Anyway this is far too deep for this forum so I stop there. Also understand this applies to ALL PLAYERS. So its actually rather irrelevant lol. If you consider someone who is passionate about something to be a geek then yes many high levels are.. If you do not consider a geek to be this.. Then I guess they are not. Its down to opinion. I highly believe that most 'high level's have 'lives' though. People cant survive without them.. Every high level I met has a 'life' outside of runescape. Its kinda immature to presume otherwise.

You definitely don't have an IQ above 160 if you couldn't even figure out what I was calling you a liar about.

  11. Seem's like something is in the works with all these small updates. I really hope so, because a whole year of [cabbage]ty real-content updates and small updates to the game would be incredibly boring. There would be nothing to look forward to, which is what a lot of people continue to pay for membership for (not necessarily me, but it does help with my happiness; something that I hope Jagex, as I am their customer, cares about).

  12. Middle class really. I live in a fairly spacious apartment with my family. I would be upper-middle or be able to afford a house but my mom really screwed us over financially and we have a load of debt, but my dad makes quite a lot (computer job related to housing, works for the government indirectly) and we will soon be able to pay off the rest. I think they are going to have trouble paying college tuition :( , so I'm trying to achieve good scores in standardized tests and maintain a good grade.

  13. Just a glorified patch notes, as has been said before.

Really need a quest. I don't care if the 150th quest is a mediocre quest, but at least make it a fairly long one that's better than that stupid Phoenix or Christmas quest. Those quests were pretty much just add-ons to other content. While Guthix Sleeps already seemed to be their 'big' quest anyway. I guess they are just trying to live up to the hype or something and delay the 150th quest for a long time which is going to be so annoying. Honestly, quests are one of the best things about RuneScape by far, and a dry streak of quests is just painful. It really helps to break up the monotony of skilling and is just a fun adventure in itself.

  14. I'm really not looking forward to college and getting a job, etc. It's not that I don't do well in school and won't get into a nice college, it's just that I'm not looking forward to that kind of responsibility. I like going through school calmly and having fun playing video games and the like. I really don't see how I will enjoy college that much. I probably won't have time to 'party' and all that stuff seems to be for people who are willing to do mediocre or worse in college. I'd rather concentrate on my studies here because it's when it really matters and how you will perform in your job.

    I'm currently in 10th grade.

  15. I'm guessing cause RuneScape is just a grind game with minimal skill involved, mostly just your effort. A lot of people just think that's dumb and games should be on skill not time invested (especially the amount in RuneScape).

  16. Let me tell you some things.

1: Circus clothing does not affect your score.

2: Wearing Magic and Range attack bonus amour makes it easier to do your performance.

3: Wearing less kg. weight and reducing it helps with the Agility performance.

    4: Emotes give no Exp.

#1 is the only one that is wrong, it does help, and emotes between moves do too (it adds variety and the audience likes it), if you don't have your best circus gear for a slot you should wear the best mage/range gear

  17. i dont see why we need a soul altar, There is no demand. The supply would drive the price down to the floor.

Simply enough, there's not anything in the game that *really* adds a constant flow of soul runes to the game. Monsters drop them, but usually in 4s and 5s.

If the Soul Altar were released, people would use them more. Remember bloods? 500 gp each and people wouldn't use them to train magic? Now they are 275 each and people use them in place of deaths for faster magic training. This is simply because of the release of the Blood Altar. It's the fastest rc exp in the game if you're making your own runes for profit, and not using the ZMI or runners. Because of this people make deaths for a nice balance of exp + profit. This creates more bloods in the economy, and more people people use them as there is a steady, cheap flow of them.

Souls will essentially be similar to this, only souls aren't attacking runes. They're just used for the stat lowering spells. Yet, still, I predict more use. The price will be lower, but there will be more use.

Actually they are used for attack spells, Blood Barrage, Shadow Barrage, and the PVP Zuriel spells use them.

Many ideas of where it could be have already been said, but brianite's idea of new soul regular mage book spells is excellent if they ever release the soul altar. Maybe these could hit up to 35 to give mage an excellent boost?
