I never noticed it before, and I go early way too often (Went early three days in a row once). I have been a bit off on my Tears schedule the last month so you could be right about that. I know for sure it's a hidden update though, just a question of when it was implemented. I like it, no more guessing when my next Tears visit will be. :

Juna now tells you how many days until you can do Tears again if you visit her early.

I know what ya mean. Next time I try will be my fifth attempt. It just takes soooo long to get through the waves of monsters that when you get to Jad and fail, you feel agitated at the whole process. I keep reminding myself though, once I get that cape it'll all be worth it. :wink:

Guess I need to work on prayer switching. Range now has a sound, wasn't it silent before? It sounds like the Iban's Blast spell. Wasn't going to be bothered to get the bolts and unholy book so I used 2 Crystals and the switching bows trick. If anyone knows any better way to count the shots, tell me. Is there any way to get the mouse toy back after you lose it? (It's from A Tail of Two Cats quest) I was skulled in the wilderness with it and a vial. I used protect item prayer and the vial was worth more than the toy. No, this isn't a joke. I just enjoy whacking people with it in the wilderness. :lol:

I've tried both a manta and a sea turtle, I found this to be the exact opposite. Mantas only gave me 3 charges and sea turtles gave me 4. I am 100% sure, without a doubt, this is what happened. If you would please test this out, I'm sure you'll find I'm right. (And if it doesn't work that way for you, then my account is bugged :XD: ) PS: Other than the above, 10/10 on the guide! Plenty of time put into this, unique, and attractive. :thumbsup: Oh and if you want to test this but don't have the manta and sea turtle, I'll be glad to get them for you. Just PM me on these forums. :wink:

If you decide to use Karil's Xbow on Jad, be careful. Since it has a shorter range, you may risk running right up to Jad while distracting the healers. Doing this can get you into trouble if you get too close and Jad decides to melee you. :wink:

I used that equipment and got to Jad. Boy was I in for a surprise! :oops: He attacked faster than I expected him to and the retribution sound wasn't as obvious as i thought it would have been. He hit me for a 13 first hit, I took a swig of Sara Brew (the only dose I had left), we battled a bit longer, he hit a 42, a couple of attacks later, he hits me with a 45. Yeah I got some training in (extremely expensive training) and a few thousand tokkul (around 4k), I had expected to do better. :wall: Wish me luck in 20 years when I go again. You sort of lose your will to live when Jad kills you. :anxious:

Well, I was doing good until the 51st wave. At 51, after I killed the 360, I ran and began to lag, low and behold when it goes away, I'm standing outside the entrance. :x I'll try again soon I suppose. :? Great guide though! :) PS - Do you think I could make it through with a 10/10 and a 4/10 cbow? :-k I'm always looking to cut corners.
