whats new? I'm referring to the fact that soon(ish) we'll be able to change for alliance to horde and vice versa. So Even though I'm a nelf now, if I see a horde guild thats amazingly well suited to my needs, I'd change over.

I need a guild for the summer. come early august I'm going to have 100% free time, and I want to be able to be on the cutting edge of raiding, something which I cant do on my realm. Theres one guild which is actually any good, and I dont get on with any of the people in it, so... any recommendations? Even horde will do considering the upcoming changes.

I'm just gonna put forward eden of the east as a recommendation as well. Its hard to explain the plot concisely, and I cant think of another anime which it compares to. But it is realistic, in the sense that it happens in modern japan, nobody has any insane super powers or anything, and as much as I hate to use the word deep to describe anything, it is a lot deeper than most others. You've just got to kind of go with it. It doesnt try to suck you in at all, but if you watch, you will be rewarded with one of the most entertaining shows of recent seasons. The only downside is it ends of a cliffhanger, and the movies which continue the plot arent set to come out until late this year in cinemas in Japan.

Oh. I can drive you from evil intent to absolutely murderous, without trolling. Because: I thought Haruhi was immensely overrated and overhyped too. I watched it at first, and I thought "well, this is okay". Then after I'd watched more anime I decided to watch it again. It seemed apparent that it suffered from the same flaws that TTGL does - and by that, I mean ridiculous plotline which I (and a few others I know) found little in, annoying as hell characters and generally being not very entertaining. I watch a fair amount of 'ridiculous' anime, but time travellers? Aliens? F*cking ESPERS? It felt like a smorgasbord of mishaps and bad ideas. Oh, not to mention that pretentious-as-f*ck airing order. What the hell. I'm not even gonna try and argue here. Clearly its just differing tastes, but I loved everything about haruhi and always will, even after numerous rewatches. I've watched gurren lagann.. I dunno.. 15 times all the way through, and it just never gets any worse. Perfect, in every possible way.

I think it's overrated garbage. Ridiculous plot and the whole thing felt like it was trying too hard. That said, you might like it. Also, Fate/stay Night gets better each episode. I stopped watching after the first 3 for some unknown reason, but now I've watched 10 or so episodes in the past couple of days. The characters in it are unbelievably good, and the fight scenes are beautifully done. There is nothing ugly about this series at all. /fanboy :evil: that is all.

yeah ep 00 fits just before ep 12 chronologically. you watched all 14 episodes right? It should either have been melancholy part 6 or someday in the rain last. And they both have kind of an endy feel to them.

No. the second to last episode of after story is sadder by a long way. In fact, most of the back half of the second series of just pure sadness.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann are the only ones that I can recommend. If you don't mind excessive gore and nudity then you should also see Elfen Lied. yep. TTGL an haruhi all the way. When you watch haruhi, make sure you watch the first season on its own. They're doing something weird now with new episdoes.

He's in the background of some of the scenes at the end. look, there on the right. [/hide] you never do find out what happens to schneizel's lackey/lover/boyfriend Kanon though.

naww theres another episode of K-ON on the DVD shipping next week, and 2 movies of eden coming out. its all good. also, I havent seen anything that looks particularly good in the new season, except for spicy wolf 2.
