Wasn't Rocco. I don't know who it was, but it wasn't Rocco.
Well, in this case, I was able to conquer a bunch of territory near me, while armies were away. So I had more to gain that way, rather than getting a piece of a 6 way split of spain.

Yeah, but Retech was the mod, not alot I can do to stop that
Nah, its not terribly vengeful, if you were not France then I would probably have just been a bit sarcastic and told Dusty that, if we were in the same battle, to either aim specifically for your units or to not come to your rescue...After that, probably go back to how things were before.
Someone else on your side was a traitor*

August has 30 days
30 days has September, April, June, and November. All the rest have 31, etc etc.
Please tell me it wasn't just me who learned this song, or it might just be a US thing.
-
To be fair, there was another traitor giving Dusty way more information than I was.

http://forum.tip.it/topic/272561-napoleonic-hegemony/page__st__1520
It reset on the 31st. Scroll down to the middle of the page.

It reset the 31st (http://forum.tip.it/topic/272561-napoleonic-hegemony/page__st__1520 middle of page I confirmed that)
so the 4th should be the reset. I think.

Woo, it's reset time. Or will be in 10 minutes ish. Having money is good.

when Doom ratted us out to Dusty and broke essentially the entire war plan except for my Skriddeki invasion which was an untested concept anyways. To be honest, everyone expected it from them though, and they're still the least controversial Tavernites because they never flame or troll and are perhaps the greatest intellects here next to Archi.
Well, me and Dusty have been allies in I believe every single Hegemony, or atleast never been at war (except when it was the only way for the game to continue, being in the last couple players). And, to be fair, I specifically told my flame boats not to attack the troop transports, because killing all those troops without even a chance wouldn't be fair or fun for anyone.
Plus, I don't like everyone teaming up on someone because someone decides they are getting too powerful. Kinda the situation I'm in now in Napoleonic.
Might I remind everyone that aside from Doom in South America, I think I had the highest percentage of people surviving the anthrax bombing?
Heh, I love how everyone there had like 10 people, and I had a billion or so, and all I would have had to do to win was kill the civil war infested US.
-
It was supposed to be done in secret, over time. It's not like I send a bunch of strongmen with nametags saying "We <3 Napoleon" to stand next to Robespierre all day.
-
I put some trusted men close to Robespierre. Should he cause any problems, he can be placed on trial for all the crimes he's committed.

Prussia condemns Revolutionary France for not abiding by the Hague Convention, and for spreading unprovable (in game) lies!
Also, it was clearly France...everyone else has a proper navy. :shades:
Revolutionary France calls the Prussian leaders witches and satanists, due to their ability to see conventions a century in the future.
Or someone who didn't want to get on your bad side. I would have no reason to build crappy ships when I could easily afford better ships.
In any case, this will go in at the last day of the budget (today?):
6000 Fusiliers
5000 Revolutionary Young Guard
3 Generals
-
Demands are sent to France for the payment of 2 million ducats in compensation to the families of the sailors they ruthlessly murdered off the French Coast, these boat had, in fact, been on a humanitarian mission to Britanny.
Firstly, you said ships were sent in order to shoot at my armies and kill Napoleon.
Secondly, it wasn't me. So no.
Dusty, when you said the reign of terror was over, did you just mean the modifier? Or is political dissent dying down, food levels returning to normal, etc.?
-
Well, it could be something that I can give them a warning for if we were to have some rules unique to this forum. First time they post something non constructive/flame etc I could warn them, etc.
I just included that on the OP because if someone wants to suggest anything relating to GM powers, they can.
-
You get none of that by the way..
-
So, who's at war with me now?
-
Well the debate was whether or not it was ok with Forum Rules to ban someone from posting in a thread. If someone wants to keep playing, but no one else wants them to play, there's not much a GM can do on his own other than ignore the player, and this is why I mentioned that as something to be debated.
If the GM ignores someone and everything related to them, then they are banned from the thread...
If it is a matter for Moderator enforcement...then I would vote that the moderators and admin stay out of the matter...unless they are spamming or provoking a flame war.
I was thinking more along the lines of if the Tavern moderator can enforce the ban, delete the persons posts on that thread and so on.
-
Archi, I meant that due to the debate about whether or not a GM can kick someone out of a game.
If people disagree with that then surely they can leave, elect a new GM and carry on on a different thread?

Portugal turns its collective back on France.
gentlemen
-
I couldn't tell if that was serious or not?
France states that Britain's favorite athletic event involves getting their ass kicked by colonists and forgetting maps.
-
Oh yeah, currently Britain's role in this war will mainly be non-militant. Though if HRE soil is ever touched by a French boot we will intervene. Also if the situation in France becomes to chaotic then Britain will also have to intervene.
Watch out, we will intervene the hell out of you.
-
Also Britain states that being a monarchy, we do not like the idea of a revolution where a king is murdered.
Charles I of England.
Louis was tried, and executed for treason to France and his people.
Dusty, what is public support of Robespierre right now, vs. public support of Napoleon who has a lot of different policies etc. ?
-
Revolutionary France naturally breaks whatever Alliance they had with the USA previously. Napoleon gives a speech on his way to Brittany about the betrayal of revolutionaries across the ocean, despite sharing similar ideals to us.
-
Seeing as you all tend to not like people thrusting ideas upon you, I decided it would best to have this thread. Do you all want anything to change around here? Could range from anything to rules, forum organization, power limits/lack of for GM's, etc.
Suggestions and the like.

That's like saying Dusty and I made the wrong decisions in Heg v1/v2 because we both became powerful and eventually the game ended.
