  8. the attack and defense skills... are they simply for being able to use better weapons and armor, or do they effect your actual fighting ability. like does the attack skill make it easier for you to hit someone the higher it is, and does the defense skill make it harder for someone to hit you. im not talking about the amount of damage you deal or take, just the chance to not hit a zero or the chance to be hit by a zero. do i make sense? #-o
