I got an idea to make this thread more interesting. Let's not just say the thread is about something, let it be about something.

"A helicopter is an aircraft which is lifted and propelled by one or more horizontal rotors consisting of two or more rotor blades. Helicopters are classified as rotorcraft to distinguish them from fixed-wing aircraft because the helicopter derives its source of lift from the rotor blades rotating around a mast. In fact, the word 'helicopter' originates from the Greek words elikoeioas (helical or spiral) and pteron (wing or feather)

Since 400 BC, the Chinese had a bamboo flying top that was used as a children's toy. Eventually, this flying top toy made it to Europe, and is depicted in a 1463 European painting. Pao Phu Tau (ÃÆæÃâ¦Ã ÃâñÃÆæÃâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅÃâôÃÆÃÂ¥ÃâíÃâÃ

Google was co-founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin while they were students at Stanford University, and the company was first incorporated as a privately held company on September 7, 1998. Google's initial public offering took place on August 19, 2004, raising $1.67 billion, making it worth $23 billion. The company grew rapidly since its IPO, acquiring smaller companies such as Writely, JotSpot, and online video sharing site YouTube in 2006, and moving into the office software market with the release of its Google Apps Premium Edition in 2007. Additionally, Google is also involved in many cooperational partnerships with other corporations, such as NASA, Sun Microsystems, Time Warner's America Online, and NewsCorp's MySpace"

This post is now about Google.

"George Walker Bush (born 6 July 1946) is the 43rd and current President of the United States, inaugurated on January 20, 2001 and re-inaugurated on January 20, 2005.

Bush was elected Governor of Texas in 1994, and after having served in that position for nearly six years, was elected U.S. President in 2000, following one of the closest and most controversial elections in U.S. history.

Eight months into Bush's presidency in 2001, in response to the September 11, 2001 attacks on America, President Bush announced a "war on terror", which would become a central issue of his presidency. In early October 2001, he ordered the invasion of Afghanistan to overthrow the Taliban as part of an attempt to defeat al-Qaeda. In March 2003, Bush ordered the invasion of Iraq, asserting that Iraq was in violation of UN Resolution 1441 regarding weapons of mass destruction. Following the invasion of Iraq, Bush stated his policy of promoting democracy in the Middle East, starting with Afghanistan and Iraq.

Bush won re-election in 2004 after a heated general election campaign against Senator John Kerry. His term is set to end January 20, 2009."

This thread is now about George.

"Captain Obvious is a sarcastic term often used in reference to people who state the self-evident. Particularly utilized on the Internet, it usually comes in the sentence "Captain Obvious to the rescue!" or "Thank you, Captain Obvious!"

The term is based on archetypical superhero names that begin with "Captain". When people use the "Captain Obvious to the rescue" phrase, it is sometimes included with an altered picture of Captain America.

Its common usage was likely propelled by the movie Billy Madison, where the main character, Billy (portrayed by Adam Sandler), used the term to berate a friend. Another possible inspiration may be Obviousman, a humorous superhero who regularly appears in Wiley Miller's Non Sequitur to enlighten the stupid.

The term was also used by comedian Richard Jeni in his HBO comedy special "Platypus Man" in 1992.

In the Star Wars fandom, "Captain Obvious" is sometimes used[1] as a nickname for Ric Olỉ̮̩̉ due to dialogue heard in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace such as:

There's the blockade!

That's it... Tatooine.

Coruscant... The entire planet's one big city.

Enemy fighters straight ahead!

The deflector shield is too strong!

Additionally, "Mr. Obvious" is the subject of a recurring skit featured on the Bob & Tom morning radio show, and performs the same function.

Captain Obvious is said to have an archnemesis in "Captain Oblivious". Captain Oblivious is used to describe people who seem to know what they're saying (and usually try to insult people who disagree, even though they're actually the ones who are right), but actually have their facts completely wrong. Additionally, "Professor Subtle" is the antithesis of Captain Obvious.

A weekly segment on the Triple M Australian radio network is known as "Captain Obvious". Here, listeners are encouraged to get in touch if they've "heard or seen something thats just plain stupidly obvious". [2]

The term is also used in the WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW series of games--usually the 2006 and 2007 editions, spoken sarcastically by Tazz to Michael Cole whenever a player performs a "dirty" move on his/her opponent to boost his/her momentum meter. When Tazz uses the Captain Obvious remark, Michael Cole is left to say, "I just think it's unfortunate whenever a Superstar decides to cheat to win, rather than compete fairly", right before the illegal move is finished."

I shot your car's wheels to make it crash, so the post is now about Captain Obvious.

"In religion, folklore, and mythology a demon (or daemon, dÃÆÃâÃâæmon, or even daimon) is a supernatural being that has generally been described as a malevolent spirit, and in Christian terms it is an angel not following God. A demon is frequently depicted as a force that may be conjured and insecurely controlled. The "good" demon in recent use is largely a literary device (e.g., Maxwell's demon), though references to good demons can be found in Hesiod and Shakespeare. In common language, to "demonize" a person means to characterize or portray them as evil, or as the source of evil.

As the Iranian Avestan and Vedic traditions as well as other branches of Indo-European mythologies show, the notion of 'demons' has existed for many millennia.

Ancient Egyptians also believed in demonic monsters that might devour living souls while they traveled towards the afterlife, although demons per se did not exist in Ancient Egyptian belief.
