Improve this Banner!

I made a banner for a guild message board in Everquest called 'The Elitists.'

They are a dominant power on their server, and i got bored, so I made them a banner. I am not sure whether or not I want to give it to them, though. I would be grateful if people would harshly comment on it with suggestions for improvement. All improvements need to be Photoshop Elements 2.0 compatible =)

Not enough contrast between the text and the background?

And message board should be rewritten in a more readable font

.....and why does it have the elitists in there twice?

I got bored and wrote it twice. I'll take out the second one and change that font =)

They have a massage board?

Lowgravity, I want to be just like you. But...I never will be as 1337 as you. :(

you got a small black dot where the M in message meets the S in message. maybe there is something on my screen, but it must be capable of scrolling too :D besides that, try and make a little bit more contrast between "the elitists" and get a little bit more of a pattern with the lines. don not get too busy, otherwise it will give someone a headache, but just enough to draw peoples attention to it
