Giant snail shells?

What are the giant snail shells (from burgh de rott ramble) for?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I tried using a chisel on it and nothing interesting happened.

Can anyone confrm that? Not that i don't beleive you but the knowledge base says they useful as armour or something along those lines.

The mort myre snails can be made into helms called snelms. Maybe you are confused with those.

I honestly would like to know this too. I have over 20 of em and I tried everything from using a pickaxe, a wcing axe, a knife, and even a pestle and mortar! I bet you need something eles in your inventory too. Like leather.

The other snails is meaning the smal mort myre snails. People have said that the snelms offer decent protection from the giant snails.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Currently the giant snail shells don't have a purpose.

before i wore the snelm i was geting hit 16s and had to protect range to stay alive. with the snelm however, the max i have been hit is a 3 and they rarely hit at all. if you git hit you can fully heal before they hit again.
