rockdogkenny1
Theres so many people who sell sigs for millions of dollars but is it actually allowed? Tonight i will ask jagex if it is allowed because i thought you are not allowed to trade real life thigns for items in runescape such as the sigs people make. Sigs are made outside of game so isnt that followed in real life items? I believe that is true so i am going to ask jagex tonight. Dont Get me wrong i love the idea of you guys making sigs i just think its against the rules.
eissob
yeah, jagex does have that rule. but what can they do about it.? In game its just a guy giving you some money, thats the part jagex sees anyways. they dont even know about the sig youve made for one person. I just consider it a favour to make a sig for someone. And because the buyer likes it. He says here's some money. enjoy it.

They can't control it anyways. It is legal.
rockdogkenny1
but i emailed jagex a while back and they said it was illegal and i am wondering if the rules got changed. THere is a way they can stop it if theres a will theres a way. They simply just have to get down to work and think of a way to stop it. These are runescape items getting sold for real life items. It simply is not fair. Tip it staff should understand that selling these items cannot be stopped here but they should not support it.

Well as abstract as this idea may sound, is a signature even a real life item? Signatures are on the computer, Runescape and its money are also on the computer. THe Signature is nothing but a string on zeros and ones, not exactly what I call a real world item. They say no real world items so people dont sell like their cars or children in exchange for RS money cause then it gets into a whole crapload of legal issues. Some lawyer isnt gonna care about a teenager "selling" a signature for money thats not even real, Jagex doesnt either. Besides, wasnt there a Jagex mod that came and purchased a signature on tip.it one time? --leowen PS I was just kidding about selling you're children, of course there are people that might try... misterxman
There's no such thing as sig selling. A sig is a gift one gives to someone else, and the other person gives back a reward or thank you gift in game. No one is forced to buy sigs, it's completely up to the buyers wether they want to spend their gp on sigs or not. Jagex has sent people messages about how sigselling is "OK" by the rules. Pixel sigs by me.Pixel Art
