pansynator
Ello. I'm new to mIRC and very unsure about alot of things about it. But, when i'm downloading alot of files don't say your queue position more than once. Does anybody know a command how i can see what my queue position is? Thanks :) ---Do not ask God for an easy life. Ask him for the strength to endure a difficult one.Pansy: a weak, effeminate, and often cowardly man. Thanks :)If you're downloading via xdcc the bot, i assume it's a bot anyways, will inform you of your current position in the main channel. It'll most likely get lost in all the babble of xdcc packages tha tare available - but it's easy to find (usually exactly the same format of the "you have been added to the queue in position x"). If you're downloading by fserv then I'm pretty certain that most fserv scripts have an x/y request. Usually automatic or one you can invoke yourself (check the help when you start an fserv for commands relevent to that script).
pansynator
Thanks for your reply. I know that it says your initial position in a queue when you start downloading but is there anyway you can see what your position is later on? ---Do not ask God for an easy life. Cruiser
They generally message you on set intervals (I wanna say around 1 hour) or when your queue position changes. Most are set up to ignore everything but a download command (that I've used anyway) so you just have to do a find in the channel window and hope it's still in the buffer. pansynator
Ooo How do you set everything to ignore, except the downloading commands? ---Do not ask God for an easy life.
